Ok.
Meaning Bukola Saraki’s grandmother is the only Yoruba among them, and could only have given half Yoruba blood to Olusola Saraki. And Olusola gave 25% Yoruba blood to Bukola and Gbemi. Bukola married Toyin Ojora.
Hmm! It’s important to know where our leaders are from.
coputa:
Olusoka Saraki's mother is from Iseyin in Oyo state and his father was from Mali, but he studied Islamic studies (ille kewu) in illorin. His paternal ancestors were fulanis

You’re welcome!

The Sunday Igboho “Yoruba nation” group made Yoruba to stay home during the election over their claim of getting Yoruba out of Nigeria in dec 2023 and the massive rigging of the ibos are the two reasons.

That’s a lie.
1. More oil was pumped during Jonathan’s time.
2. Oil was more expensive during Jonathan’s tenure.
3. Jonathan met tens of billions of dollars in the coffer, president Tinubu met $3 billion.
Take your own advice, you need it more.
Kukutente23:
Lol. It is you who is unfairly comparing administration by spreading lies
Jonathan never had 3.5mbpd
The price of oil on average is almost same between Jonathan and now
Stop feeding yourself lies

One fact about a person who thinks so much about Alagbo to the extent of bringing their issue to nairaland is, he or she must be at lowest point of human life and probably been around them a lot or even had them at the center of his or her world.

Can’t you see how you cry over what is done and what is not done by this administration?
Good people are happy when there’s a positive news.

2,000 tractors go a long way at around 55 for every state and like 2 for each local govt. People can rent it for a small fee for 1 hour to plow fields for planting that can change food story in Nigeria, but unfortunately most of you are unserious people who would steal if you get the opportunity.

See, go and find something to do with your time. I’ve made my point so you can stop unfairly comparing two totally different administrations under different circumstances.
Kukutente23:
You mean Jonathan was president until Tinubu came in? And you think you're not lying
More oil was pumped because Jonathan was competent at ensuring an enabling environment that ensures oil production is maximum
On the average, Tinubu's oil price compares favourably with Jonathan. His budget benchmark is the highest in history
Why is the Federation account not growing now?

PoliticsRe: Can Yoruba Leaders & Obas Mobilize Youths For Agriculture? by wowcatty(op):
Yes, president Tinubu is doing a fantastic job, the governors are the ones lagging behind.
Obas too must pull every stop to get their youths in workshops now to get every job.

I did a small research and found out that foreigners are more than Yoruba in every worksite especially construction in Yorubaland. In foodstuff markets it’s about 50/50. In most other areas we’re nonexistent. What are the purpose of the Obas if their towns are being taking over naira by naira? Forget about big businesses, the bottom scrap naira is the real tsunami that makes or breaks communities. If your little N200 goes daily outside your community, it will build another community. Your money must circulate 3 times within your community before heading out if you don’t want to remain poor. In a nutshell, buy your food, drinks, clothes and sew from fellow Yoruba. Hire 99% of your own first like how all free-born people across the world do. Let us show that we’re not slaves.

The government has been doing their best in improving foods and security in the country.

I understand that lying is a way of life for you, but it’s a fact that more oil was pumped under Jonathan than now. Price of oil was higher under Jonathan than now. Tens of billions of dollars was in federation and excess crude oil accounts under Jonathan and just $3 billions was left in them when president Tinubu came to office.
Kukutente23:

Hard to believe but since there’s limited access to their preservations, I really don’t know what to make of it.
hosemujica:
So I saw your reminder earlier just have been busy . Anyways, I called someone and asked , she said what normally happens is that they dig up somewhere for pit toilet and when it’s filled up they cover it up with a marker and move on to the next . But nowadays ( in the past 10-20years ) some people now use biodegradable method to treat the waste. But she just told now that pit toilet is still in use till today.

The pictures you see I actually took them myself as I lived in the area for years. Look at one of those pictures I attached, you will see a heap of sand behind the outhouse, now that same sand will be used to cover the pit when it’s full.

I know it’s surprising , the same way people living in NYC and Long Island don’t under why people should own guns. Well I worked in the police department in the same reservation where it takes almost 30 mins before a cop shows up in emergency. That’s why everyone needs a gun.
PoliticsCan Yoruba Leaders & Obas Mobilize Youths For Agriculture? by wowcatty(op): 6:14am On Jul 25, 2025
Now that funds will be made available for agriculture by the Fg, can the Obas help their communities with growing food and jobs with the money meant for states? Or is it the most difficult thing to lobby the governor and then let the communities know the govt’s response? Just know that land will be allocated from states and you must position your youths to have them rather than watch them go to strangers and then cry wolf. Get your youths ready to take every land available NOW! If by next year I start hearing how all the lands in Yorubaland are going to non Yoruba in the name of agriculture, haayaayaah! We will not only insult any Oba that agricultural land and funds in his domain went to foreigners, we will drag him from platforms to platforms and fi eyin tu gbogbo irun oko e ni gbangba.

Ipob did to prove a dead point that nobody wants to work for president Tinubu.
Also, I was just told today that Peter Obi owns Ipob and it simply means “I Peter Obi” and I actually see how it can be true, just take a look at who we’re talking about here, there’s nothing they can’t do.

I can’t. My point was made. Oil output and price was more under Jonathan than this president. And Jonathan met tens of billions of dollars in the treasury, this president met $3 billion.
Kukutente23:
Can you give an example of when Nigeria was pumping 3.5m per day

And it's Jonathan's fault that he was able to increase oil production in his time abi

It seems you have been under a boulder for you to miss the fact that Trump has been winning every lawsuit. You better go and get your tears towels ready because Obama is on the way to prison.

Same in Nigeria too as far as the British dumping is concerned, and that’s why Nigeria has no peace. The money Trump is offering to store refugees is big and tempting, thank God that the current Nigerian president Tinubu is not greedy.

History has a special way of repeating itself

American slaves were deported to Liberia and they are now the most powerful in the country.

Same happened in Palestine, the visitor is now the oppressor.

All these deportees will gain grounds and someday, will claim they have a right.

If you buy from Yoruba, you will be eating fufu, but if you buy from non Yoruba, you will be eating Akpu.
There’s an attempt to blur traditional lines in Nigeria. It used to be only fufu that are sold on the street markets with foodstuff, Yoruba consider it as fast food along side ‘Tiolobe’ (Eba wrapped in leaves without soup)which is now almost nonexistent except in some rural areas.
FreeSpirited:
I never knew though
This explains my new disinterest in fufu, while I din't know it's AKPu because it's too hard for my liking.
While growing up, it's definitely fufu my mom used to make by making it on fire as u described, and I used to enjoy the soft slippery texture and mild taste. But the once being sold around now is something else... Too hard, and the texture isn't as smooth and slippery. So na AKPu i dey chop thinking it's fufu....
