⚡Iran primed to test Nuclear Weapons by end of 2024, ex-National Security Council official warns.

A former senior director of the National Security Council warned Iran appears primed to test one or more nuclear weapons by the end of the year, while the media remains mostly silent.

Robert Greenway, now a national security senior adviser at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, said on Saturday's edition of "Life, Liberty & Levin" the Biden administration is not enforcing proper sanctions and claimed the Raisi regime in Tehran is close to their goal of nuclear armament.

"They are a hair's breadth away," Greenway said.

"Look, if they don't test a weapon by the end of the year, it's only their incompetence that prevents them from doing it. And it might, but it might not."

⚡The Syrian Ministry of Defense reported that the country's air defense forces shot down seven drones in the Idlib and Raqqa provinces.

Five of them belonged to terrorists attempting to target positions of the Syrian Arab Army.

The remaining two, apparently destroyed in northern Syria, were identified as "RQ-21 Blackjack" drones, commonly used by the US Marine Corps for reconnaissance.

The Pentagon has not provided information on drone losses in Syria.

⚡The German Ministry of Defence is alarmed that a large amount of information may have been leaked, and not just a published fragment of the negotiations between German officers about the attack on the Crimean bridge, reports Der Spiegel.

"The German defence ministry is alarmed by this case as other internal negotiations could have been tapped," Spiegel writes, citing sources.

The publication notes that the question now is whether other negotiations of the German Air Force and other military departments could have been tapped.

It is reported that the intercepted conversation was conducted by Luftwaffe officers through open channels on the WebEx platform, which Spiegel says is "relatively easy to bug". In addition, the publication suggests that one of the participants in the conversation even connected to the conference via a mobile phone, while he was in Singapore.

⚡Gagauzia Vs Moldova

Another Moldovan region has asked for 'Russia's protection'

The head of Moldova's autonomous region of Gagauzia, Evghenia Guțul, arrived in Moscow today and met with Valentina Matvienko, chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia.

Guțul stated that the rights of the region "are oppressed by Moldova, it crosses all borders, and the region asks for Russia's support."

Moldovan President Maia Sandu had earlier reported that Gagauzia is undergoing a large-scale propaganda campaign by Moscow against the country's leadership and EU benefits.
