ephi123: This is not about holding grudges. This is about justice. Both sides suffered losses, whether meagre or otherwise, so both sides should be supported to rebuild their communities and lost businesses. That is the right thing. Alright, then that is the duty of Ooni of Ife meanwhile the one severally affected was first compensated and was done by their brother. I know where you are driving at eph |

ephi123: You are on your own oh
So, back to the topic. Shouldn't the compensation be given to all the parties affected? That should be the right thing in my opinion. Babe, I travelled to Ife two weeks ago and the level of damage done by the Ife youths on hausa properties is damn huge but on the yoruba part, the damage is very meagre. Btw Dangote gave his brothers money, that one no concern Ife people but the thing is normal activities has returned to ife town, Hausa and Yoruba dey collabo as if nothing happen sef. Life is too short to be holding grudges for long and that does not mean one should be complacent. |

Politics › Re: Flooding: Lagos To Re-engineer Canals, Drainage Systems – Ambode by wristbangle: 6:50pm On Jul 10, 2017 |
This supposed to have been the earlier plan so that Lagos (Island specifically) would not be encountering this issue of flooding though we can take exception for the fact that naturally the terrain of the island is at/below sea level but the mentality of black man is wire shamefully hence prefer cure to prevention instead of the other way round. All the same kudos to ambode for his attention on the issue and we look forward to having his prompt action on it. Lalasticlala, another flood issue again o |

Hmmmm When good things happen in Lagos, they say NO man's land but when things like this happen, they will say SW poo, zoo is falling. I hail IPOB Baboons oo.
Anyway I decry the poor state of drainage system on the Island but with good drainage system and no Eko Atlantic project, this flood is bound to happen which has occurred some years back when the Atlantic city is yet to commence which we can say it's a natural disaster just like in countries like Japan, USA, China, etc. |

LastMumu: The stark contrast between both pictures has nothing to do with hunger, the pictures depicts the difference in culture of both people, it is a mentality thing. While the Whites have gotten to that stage where they see nature in a different light, they understand the importance of protecting, exploring, and respecting it, Africans still have this "consume - consume" mentality. I can tell you most of those with cutlass butchering that whale have food waiting for them at home. But immediately they saw the whale, the only thing they are thinking is 'I must eat it!'. It is the way our head is wired here.
