Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Just Got A Job In Lekki...but Location Happens To Be A Barrier by wristbangle: 10:52pm On Feb 22, 2017 |
Habisoye: The pay is 110k, I presently work on the mainland with a pay of 80k. I'm not used to working far away from home. Since I graduated i've been working on the mainland (yaba, Maryland, etc) and I get home mostly by 7pm.
But I just love to work with an IT firm that's why. Seriously, am just confused right now. You are confused because of the words from your pastor, not the distance of the location per say. I was earning far less than what you are currently earning at a particular firm in VI and I leave house everyday @ 5am from Akute. This is not a suggestion but a straight advice that you go for the job as salary and career growth is far better. If you don't need the job, please I need it |

doctokwus: My broda,d thing tire sombrody. Just because of a 23km light rail and a proposed 4th mainland bridge and eko atlantic city, lagos will now compete with other megacities in d world! Despite google and cheap internet,d way some pple display their ignorance is dumbfounding. Ambode is doing a marvellous job, compared to d many incompetent govs spread round and a utterly incompetent and sick president, but Lagos needs at least 25 yrs of such development to catch up with d 2nd string of mega cities and 50 to catch up with d likes of Tokyo Seoul,London, etc You are right. One step @ a time. Those cities u mentioned were planned many decades ago and successive government has ensured that the plans are consistently executed to achieve the desired perfect city |

Finally!!! When 4th mainland bridge, Eko Atlantic city and Light rail with other viable projects complete, Lagos will give a head run with other mega cities in the world. Though a lot needs to be done to beautify the city by eradicating some slump areas disfiguring the state. ChetaNwaeze: We Igbos are the one that developed Lagos Good, Now clap for yourself ..... |

omofunaab: Am not wristbangle .
Everybody knows that the igbos are the ones selling drugs over there in South Africa like they do in India, Thailand, Brazil.
Am sure we have igbos selling drugs in North Korea also Baba please ignore them. These guys will not let me be. They have been defecating my mentions as if their frustrating lives depends on it. Their acute illusion and severe eye cataract has destroyed their intellect and vision to see that we are different. |

Explorers: What goes up must surely come down.
I had a dream last night.
I saw $1 = #5.
I saw Apple, Microsoft, Airbus, Boeing, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Ford, GM, Mercedes Benz, Hyundai, Kia, Samsung, having their major plants, Headquarters in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Nigeria became one of the largest exporters in the world.
I saw 2% unemployment rate, 24hrs electricity, police and medical auto response, trams, bullet trains, tubes, underground tunnels for cars&trains, flying taxis.
I saw Nigeria embassies around the world rejecting and turning down over 1,000,000 visa applications everyday mostly from U.S., UK, China, and Germany.
Then i woke up. So shall it be In Jesus Name but for this dream to come to pass, revolution must take place |
Phones › Re: Telecoms To Block Skype, Whatsapp Calls, To Boost Revenue by wristbangle: 8:19am On Feb 20, 2017 |
By doing this they expect customers to pay more in order to meet their financial obligation where other countries are thinking out of the box to drive revenue in telecommunication sector and provide free Internet services for their citizens. I wasn't surprise when Nigeria tops the list of the most corrupt country on earth according to the latest statistics. |

LuvU2: I wont gv him my number too. U dnt treat a lady like thar Even if u didn't want ta pay dont leave when its payment time. For a guy to watch a lady he intends to approach pay for her shopping items is a blow to his ego. It's impolite to tell a lady he is not financially capable to pay for her items as the lady will automatically term him a broke dude. As for me, I will adopt this method and if the lady sees me as a broke dude, then she is not a wife material. |
