Atiku spoke the truth but these politicians always capitalise on situation hence getting on people's emotion to vote for them. By the time they get what they want using their usual gimmicks, they quickly forget and chase how their pocket will be enriched.

The problem of power in this country is really complicated ranging from political embezzlement, misappropriation, personal enrichment and non accountability/compliance from consumers.

Let's start from consumers aspect, in some houses, people bypass heavy electronics such as Iron, blender and other gadgets straight on DC electric pole making it difficult for DISCO bodies to take proper readings and that is why the innocents pay dearly for this hereby inflating bills for something they did not even use.

From political aspect, some evil cabals never wanted electricity to be constant because they use this means to import generators and also aid high domestic fuel consumption which in turn enrich their pockets

Still on political aspect, we heard how a former head of state diverted 16 billion dollars met for power stations and dam construction for his personal business. Same can be said of another who fail to seize the oil boom opportunity to improve the dilapidated power sector in the country. I can't conclude fully on this current one but so far I have not seen any improvement except when the power supply climaxed 5000MW.

Since they have kick off construction of hydro dams at taraba and other places in Nigeria, It has become necessary for us to be patient with them.
