Or waiting for the market to trend when you are still within the range of the previous day or week as a trader who uses 10-30 pips as stop loss

Or trying to trade for an entire day in the name of making profit

Forming new habits of trading at specific times only.

But I noticed Xauusd moves whenever it wants...so the only adjustment to trading after 2pm I will make is to look for gold trade from London open or from 2pm.

I think it's kinda too early for some jpy pairs o. Eur/jpy, nzd/jpy and chf/jpy. I'm expecting a big bullish run before coming down.

You are contradicting yourself. If loss is accepted according to you, then being wicked out shouldn't be demoralizing don't you think? You said you shifted the SL to protect your account from being blown out, but you and I know that, you just couldn't handle that little failed trade call which is very okay in this business, but your emotions got the better of you.

Ask yourself this question when next you wanna shift your stoploss, if the market was nearing my takeprofit, would I shift it further back to make more, or I will even bring it down to exit the trade as early as possible.
Keep your emotions in check or you'll fail woefully in this business.

I placed my S.L at the proper place whereby should price get there my biase is totally negated.

Reading trading books ..you always hear trade with the trend

If the market ranges over 70 percent of the time, then how do you trade with the trend?

In a situation like the picture below, how do you trade with the trend?


How can correlation help in any scenario like below?

I think the only way to define a trend is relative to the previous bar close on say a 4h chart or daily or monthly and Fibonacci areas or ATR areas above or below the high and low of that bar.

Anything can happen with the close of each new bar...especially if news is around the corner.

This is one the pairs that is going to drop massive pips for the week if we have strong AUD CPI on Wednesday..

Reasons, 1.EUR will keep depreciating due to weak PMI that was released last week , we know that PMI is arguably one of most vital economic indicators used to gauge global growth and strength of consumer demand. 2. The economic is slowing down which outweigh inflation. So don't be surprised seeing EUR dumping. 3. AUD still at hawkish rate , if inflation news this week come out strong ,I will short this pair with at least 15 lotsize.

Seems like a good time to buy Eur/aud.

why pegging it at 10? all things been equal it should almost engulf yesterday bull run. if i didnt adjust my S.L i would have been wicked out before the fall.

if eur/gbp is going to reverse i think this is a convenient spot for it to start reversing. morealso, if its going to fall its going to be a very massive one starting from today. ( That is if its going to reverse o)

Why did I step away from Forex trading since 2021?
