After every interview you should always email the interviewer thanking them for the opportunity they gave you. You can even send a simple thank you card.

If you felt like your interview was bad, go on LinkedIn, find the interviewer, friend him or her and tell them a sob story like how this job means the world to you at this point in life. Tell the interviewer how you made it this far in life without parental support and you have younger siblings looking up to you. You have nothing to lose af this point.

I once told a manager I have plans to sell my kidney just to survive, the lady was so touched, she called me back and gave me a marketing job, she said if I could convince her to change her mind, she is certain I can convince any customer to buy their product. Needless to say, i moved up the ranks to later become the CEO of the company.
