BusinessRe: Transport Business: Share Your Experience by X21: 8:52pm On Apr 12
It can be game or life
It is game when you have other income sources but want to learn human behaviour and trust. It is life when you depend on it to survive.
If it is game for you, please go ahead. Most failures recorded were from people who it is life to
Few hints
Would be driver/operator must not have a large family otherwise the whole money will go for family maintenance. A family of not more than three is manageable. Better still if his wife is gainfully engaged and children grown up
Offered your driver unlimited alcohol of his choice during the engagement period. Run if he shows no restraint
Discuss women. If he shows no discipline towards them please don't engage him
Find out his views on football betting and gambling . Your money may be gambled away
What type of apartment does he stay in. He will renew his rent from your business proceeds
Has he driven commercial vehicle before. Why did he quit. The challenges have not gone away, he will quit again. If he has not done commercial driving he will learn on the job with your vehicle.

So many boxes to tick if you are to succeed

CareerRe: "16 Years In Banking And Still Nothing To Show For It" — Banker Laments (video) by X21: 9:54am On Apr 18, 2025
You worked and get paid for 16 years
If you do not have anything to show for the salary you collected, how is it the fault of the bank.
Untill you acknowledge that you have not utilized your resources well and change your ways, your situation will remain the same
In the bank where you work there are wealth creation vehicles, e.g treasury bills, bonds, fixed deposit, eurobond, stock brokerage, yet you will utilise any of them.
Think inwards young man

FamilyRe: Your Are Given 800k To Turn To 2m In A Year, What Business Would You Do? by X21: 4:28pm On Mar 16, 2025
IyaTola:
Your are given 800k to turn to 2m in a year, what business would you do?
To turn 800k to 2m in 12 months is to make 100k/month or 1.2m per annum after deducting all expenses.

You can further break it down to 3.34k per day after deducting all cost.

What businesses can give 3.34k daily after expenses

Pos operated in your in a busy place with no or little rent

Transport with okada in an area with high population where such is not banned

Sell raw food e.g yam potato etc in a densely populated area

Sell cooked food in densely populated area if you are a good cook.

Etc
In all these be conscious of expenditure on rent, fitting and fixtures or you will have little left for working capital

If i may ask what businesses gave you the 800k

Does anybody know why the distribution expenses dropped?

I dont think this is going to be sustainable. If it is just a one off then the result is not so good
It is unexplained in the note. Best to wait for Auditors to sign off thie financial before using it to make decisions

EPS = ₦23.07 cool
Sundry income of 1.6b unexplained maybe some assets were sold
How did selling expenses drop by 90% from 3b to less than 300m

It just make sense to wait for audited results

[quote author=HesInMe post=133842933]I didn't think it was a controversial position. Nearly all new equity issues are dilutive in the short term: You're expanding the number of shares chasing a given amount of profit. Except you think the profit will grow at a faster pace than the share count.

So the real question here is: How will the banks grow their earnings from here on? We all just assume the music will go on and on and on. No one is seriously tackling this question. Keep in mind that we're supposedly at peak interest rates, so their net interest margin (the difference between loan and deposit rates) should fall going forward. And the formal sector is nearly fully banked, so opening another br

Avenues for investment is verse for banks
Net interest and deposit is just one
Who buys up all the treasury bills and fgn bonds?. If rates goes down they are not limited to nigeria.
Other nations sovereign bonds are also there
Who are the big players in forex market globally and locally
Who are the big players even in crypto

What of futures and financial derivatives

The banks know what to do and opportunities are limitless globally

Please next time you sell shares like Dangotesugar after talking well of it please alert people that may have joined based on the good they heard about the company from you. Now many got trapped in DS thinking you are there, not knowing you had exited at good profit point. Sunripebble alerted he took profit in Aradel. Should it happen, please do alert us before taking some profits in Aradel or at least immediately after taking some profit and not months after. So that people can benefit and not assume you that marketed Aradel management is still fully with load of shares in the bus.
He made it public when he sold and moved to fixed income
He advised folks to do so too
