HigherEd: You are funny, double standards has always been the hallmark of international politics as it has to be. Foreign policy isn't a joke and one rule can't ever fit all. If Maduro is killing hundreds of his people then the whole world can come together and help remove him militarily. But you can never realistically use the same military invasion to remove a Putin killing hundreds of his people that would be crazy stupid. The best thing in Putin's case would be to enforce sanctions and hope the people in his govt would turn against him. This is because no coalition of nations can successfully defeat Russia in military confrontation without sustaining damage to itself.
America can obliterate North Korea in days but before they do so North Korea would have turned South Korea's capital to a graveyard. Plus a collapsed North Korea would send millions of refuggees into China, A UNSC member. This makes the US favor diplomacy above war when talking about North Korea. However if Iran poses a definite threat like North Korea then USA would not hesitate to bomb the living day out of Iran because all US allies(Isreal and Saudi) in the middle east are battle ready unlike South Korea and Japan that don't want war with anybody.
So US willing to war with Iran and willing to negotiate with North Korea is not proof of hypocrisy but strategy and calculation.
Don't just sit down in a room typing about international politics when you know nothing about it. When Nigeria condemned US and Isreal at the UN assembly for moving US embassy to Jerusalem was Nigeria not interfering? Why didn't Isreal send our ambassadors back in a body bag. When Nigeria was on the verge of invading Gambia to remove her leader where we not interfering? Please use the brain you were given and accept that no nation is an island of its own. Whatever happens in Nigeria holds great impact for other nations. Civil war has not broken out yet you have hundreds of thousands striving to leave Nigeria. If war breaks out because of some brain dead leaders tell me which countries will like 180 million refugees at their door step.
Thank you HigherEd
abduljabbar4: You just proved to me that you lack comprehension. Why not go and bring white men to come and continue ruling you since you might have to go to their country if something bad happens. I have been saying That El rufais statement was wrong and you are still repeating that nonsense. Do you know how many puppets they have illegally installed in other countries? Thats real interference and thats what any reasonable person(which you seem not to be) should be against. okay, they will not attack putin, but what about saudi Arabia and Israel? They can definitely samction them just like the way they sanctioned Russia but no, they won't because it will affect their interests. You are only being naïve if you think they really care about democracy for the sake of democracy.
It would be better to learn than make yourself look like a fool.
Racoon: And the APC said they don't want religious leaders and foreign interference in Nigerian politics/democratic process? Can Nigerians see the hypocrites called APC?
Meanwhile, can the NIA, DSS, NPF, NIS, INEC and the customs investigate how this ugly and dangerous development happened on Nigerian soil?
Investigate who? Their tribesmen? Especially APC members and affiliates? The Heads of all the Agencies would not do such.

WhatsApp is limiting all its members to forwarding any single message up to five times in an effort to tackle the spread of false information on the platform.
The Facebook-owned business had already introduced the policy in India six months ago.
The move followed a number of mob lynchings that were blamed on fake reports spread via the service.
Until now, users elsewhere could forward messages up to 20 times.
The update to the app's rules was announced at an event in Jakarta, Indonesia. The country is holding its general election in April.
The firm told the BBC it had made its decision after "carefully" evaluating the results of its half-year-long test in the country.
"The forward limit significantly reduced forwarded messages around the world," a spokeswoman added.
"[This] will help keep WhatsApp focused on private messaging with close contacts. We'll continue to listen to user feedback about their experience, and over time, look for new ways of addressing viral content."
Scrambled messages
Up to 256 users can be enrolled in a WhatsApp group. So, theoretically, a single user can now only forward a message up to 1,280 other individuals rather than the 5,120 people figure that had been possible previously.
There is nothing, however, to stop those on the receiving end each forwarding the message up to five times themselves.
The restriction comes at a time WhatsApp and Facebook's other services are under scrutiny for their role in the spread of propaganda and other untruths online.
Last week, Facebook announced it had removed 500 pages and accounts allegedly involved in peddling fake news in Central Europe, Ukraine and other Eastern European nations.
It also recently announced that it had employed a UK-fact-checking service to flag content on its main platform.
However, the use of end-to-end encryption by WhatsApp means its messages can only be read by their senders and recipients, limiting the firm's ability to spot false reports.
But at the end of last year, the Indian press reported that the government was considering a change to the law that would force Facebook to police WhatsApp for "unlawful" content. This would challenge its use of the encryption technology.
