The actual gist is -
She stole gold worth 700k from the boyfriend, sold it and was planning on using the money to travel to Dubai with another guy before she was found out.
For those people calling the guy all sorts of names just because he took the law into his hands, take these things into consideration -
1. The boyfriend wasn't among those beating her up, it was his friends that got pissed and took it upon themselves to serve her some form of punishment.
2. Imagine the double heartbreak the guy suffered, been stolen from, and also discovering his girlfriend was a cheat - trust me, even the most educated of us all would lose our civility if that thing happened to us, but hey, it's social media let's all act holy, and sensible.
3. In case you aren't aware, it's almost a norm in Naija here to beat thieves before handling them to the police .
4. Even our naija police strip thieves (not completely though) after catching them, if you doubt, check online lol.

1. You went out with a guy to a party, of which I'm sure your boyfriend wasn't aware of, and the guy took you home/hotel where you two had sex (because it's obvious it wasn't in the car).
2. You didn't take any actions against the guy that supposedly raped you, or inform anyone.
3. Your boyfriend finds out and rightly gets mad and confronts you, and you DENIED IT outrightly claiming no such thing happened.
4. Your boyfriend provides you with evidence and you suddenly backtracked and called it rape.
5. Now you're playing the victim...

My take on the issue.....
1. I don't think your boyfriend is actually trying to blackmail you per se, if it was a blackmail, he would be requesting for something in return, rather, the correct word to use is EXPOSE!
He wants to expose you.
2. You still have never made mention of confronting the guy that allegedly raped you to help talk to your boyfriend, or threaten to take action against him for raping you, so I strongly feel it's not rape.
3. I don't think he actually threatened to leak the tape, rather it's what your guilty conscience working up overtime.
4. Lastly, you truly don't deserve his love.

But if he truly threatened to leak it.....
1. You can actually threaten to get the school authorities and police involved. That's just the best course of action to take, not by using cultists or voodoo...
Or...
2. Dialogue with him, you know him better, I am just sure he's badly hurt, beg him, apologise, come clean with him, or ask what he wants, go with a recorder (incase he wants to really blackmail you so you have proof).

On the last note, I don't support the guy's actions, and I also don't feel pity for your plight.
