Hi guys, i applied for Family reunion visa in August 7 this year and i haven't received an appointment date. Its four months already and I have emailed several times and called too but nothing yet. Did anyone else go through similar experience? What else can i do?

Did you make photocopy of only Bio-data page of International Passport or all the pages?

Please advice. I know how they make people make unnecessary number of photocopies of documents at VFS only to find out eventually that you were misled by them at point of submission.

I initially photocopied only the data page of my passport, the vfs lady ask me to photocopy ALL THE pages in three copies (I had two passports). Never in my life have I paid up to 5k only to make copies!

I applied June 7th. Still waiting oh. I emailed them and they sent me a vague reeponse about how they attend to visas as they come In to ensure fairness and the average is 6 weeks. Could be less and more and I should be patient. They close 1pm at the embassy so if you try to call them do so before 1pm.

We submitted the same day....the suspense is killing me.

I made one copy and I was asked at VFS Abuja to make TWO extra copies. Was running like a mad woman looking for where to make extra copies cos they were about to close. My experience though!

You have to make TWO EXTRA copies of everything (except bank statements). So basically you will have ORIGINAL COPIES AND TWO EXTRA COPIES.
