Read first and comment later.
Bros I have read it, you did not mention anything personally related to your marriage life.

Is this what women bring into a marriage?

1. Faithfulness/forgiveness
2. Great cook
3. Calming and great advice
4. Raising kids in a Godly way
5. Prayerful
6. Humble/kindness
7. Dressing sexy and clean for you
8. Great sex the man can't get anywhere (not a log of wood waiting to be pounded every time without making any efforts)
9. Fear/respect
10. Sense of humor

There nothing special up there.

If you can't give explicit example from your personal life as regards this matter, who is going to take your write up serious.

Hint: Not me.

Oyemade did not need to clarify anything.

Either way his stated views are opposed to the foolish ones by Oyedepo and his likes.
The Internet is stupid sometimes, you have to search far to get a reasonable comment.

If anybody have taken their time to read the article you won't need anyone to tell you who he is referring to.

Forgive me for thinking out loud...one ordinarily would have expected that in global tribulation as the one we are facing at the moment it is most advisable to be in an Ac_like environment than a hell hole.

He got it wrong when he said we din6t owe our parent anything.
We do, because they would not intentionally mislead us.
That's what I mean.

They can advise you, and you can humbly decline their advise if you feel you have something better and explain to them the advantage of your choice over theirs in a convincing manner not this ungrateful approach of brushing them off as if they are nobody.

Who does that!.
You can't just pick on his comment out of context and from your own perspective to nail him to to cross.

Anybody that is rise right won't abandon his parent, his point is that when you feel you owe your life to your parent you are bond to do whatever they say; I have friends still passing through that.

Do what it is right by you and when you succeed you show them love.

This is Nigeria bro, most of us are choosing our path quickly to shower them with much love before age take a turn on them.

African mentality is that you should respect your parents no matter what because they sacrified all they had for you.
This is a tactics used to Guilt Shame you whenever you don't agree with parents

Lol, duhhhhhh. Before nko??
If you bring a child into this world then you must sacrifice to keep it alive.
It's not rocket science
If you don't want to sacrifice then don't go and insert your dick and give birth to kids.
You don't owe your parents for taking care of you..
That is a duty they both agreed to do once they decided to have kids

If I request for a puppy, of course I have to get ready to feed and raise the puppy.
It is my responsibility and duty since I requested for it.
You can never achieve anything if you cling too much on your parents advice
They are biased on many many levels
Some are blinded by doctrine
They had no access to Internet and a large amount of information unlike us.
That is why White people are far ahead of us. They allow their kids to explore life and in doing so these kids become their best selves with great potential to the community and the world.
You are out here living in 2050 while Nigerians are stucked in the 90s.

Nice comment, you are wise.

If u know d law.. u will know Wat I am talking abt exactly.. in d case of divorce.. no matter d circumstance.. it still favors d lady.. even if she was d one that cheated.. d guy will still pay her huge sums.. Most of d women know this n use it to their advantage.. there is a celeb that us famous for marrying celebs n dumping them.. she is very rich.. she has no job but got her wealth from Alimony.. I think Sylvester Stallone was her 4th hubby.. most women do this.. slot of them make money from divorce.. that was y d prenuptial agreement was brought by smart lawyers.. most of d women over there decline to sign it. they start acting up that d guy doesn't love them..
Stallone is still with his wife and three daughters.

Listen bro this world will eventually get back to the way it was in the last decade trust me it might take a little time but when this virus is finally defeated, watch the world go back to it's former Madness . If not worse
The media keep pushing the agenda that the world would not go back to normal and everyone is just echoing it, what is normal self?

Yes they control.

Thats why people would believe them and the world will not take its former shape again.
Most state are feeling the pain and the reality on ground hence why they are relaxing the lockdown and the protest ongoing in some countries.

The average life of a Nigerian would surely go back to normal. Most environment even with the lockdown there is movement within the hood it is just restricted in major road.
