there is a new scam now unfolding base on buying of reviews if some one request to buy review from you make sure he/she pays before you accept the order. this is what this scammers now do.

they will send you a file or document you will add as attachment for the job, and they will tell you they will pay immediately you make the order in which they will not pay and they will complete the order which will look like the solve problem of what you order for, you will ask for your funds they will not answer you when you cancel the order they will decline it and allow you to raise a dispute and Fiverr come in and they will present the solve document and the favour will go their way and you loose your money.

am currently in same situations now but I hope I win the case after fiverr intervention the person who requested to buy review from me is here on nairaland is moniker is zibulu007 will not tag him a full scammer till I win the dispute pls take note it a new trick in town now.

after battling with the scammer on fiverr i won the case and my funds was returned those of you that were supporting i should forgo when some tries to rob you of your hard earn money you can for go okay so can now tag zibulu007 as a fiverr scammer guys watch out it was not an easy case i had to smart too as nija guy

in case you don't know someone here has bought a review of $50 from me because it was part of what he wanted me to say also the service was cheap in the review and other context, people buy more than that okay

This is no big deal, just forfeit the money and give the person 1 star rating with very bad review, let's see who go suffer am pass. Note that there are also sellers who normally cancel orders immediately the buyer pays them.

it a big deal okay it can be $5 $20 $60 $80 or more anybody can be a victim and hope you know fiverr can also remove a bad review if you write a complementary message(happened to me on another account) to them and also before any gig order can be canceled there have to be mutual agreement between the seller and the buyer whereas in my own case am not ready to make one making just $5 on fiverr is not as easy as before especially when you are not offering a writing,programming or design gig

I recommend JS because u where comparing it with PHP, but making it easy for you since you have started python go with django for web development and by the way python for server side is superb

and it will even be very easy for you to migrate to learning JS web technologies after gaining stand with python.

I will say it good you start with python but on going with current technology base on my own opinion using python for web development is stronger and lighter using framework like django or flask but if you will stick with your python i recommend django for Python web development. the likes of wikipedia, google, youtube, fiveer where built using python


base on your question JavaScript can now be use for client and server side deployment thank God for different web technologies coming up the likes of angular, react and vuefor client side (major one but there are many more ) also vue.js and node is (server side major ones ) . and people now use react and vue for server side now with some crazy dependences and library .

despite the current form of PHP which is gradually fading away but I still see it as a very strong language too for server side deployment due to strong support of laravel framework but keep in mind 70% of ecommerce sites you see today were built with PHP and facebook was also built with PHP but some of there pages are now rebuilt with react but PHP was the backbone of facebook


but given you a recommendation I will choose you go for JS base on the current trend of web technologies. the likes of react and veu js can now be use to write android application which we all usually depend on java for also JS is also gaining stand gradually in artificial intelligence we now have the likes of tensorflow js and co for artificial intelligence development


so in all JS is the way


before end of the week I will be dropping an article on web development for 2019 which will be a guide for upcoming web developers


if all goes well too will launch NL 100 days of code for ( for front end web engineer)
