Read about Czeckslovakia, USSR, East Timor, Eritrea, Sudan etc. Nigeria as presently constituted is not just a burden on West Africa but the entire world. Bashir & Sudanese Arabs/moors used to scoff at John Garang & his rebelion but today, that country has been balkanized & Bashir has remained a fugitive ever since. Great tribulations! I can hear the tribulation of the family, friends n relatives on the demise of our brother, friend and relative. Death why have thou done this to us. It is so is unjust and unfair.

It was on the day of 13th November, morning about 9am, along waterworks road abakaliki, Ebonyi state. A friend and a brother  by name Mr Ugota Ebuka. was taken away from us, the grief in our hearts are beyond compare but then we are mere mortals and since death is inevitable, we know we all shall answer that call someday sometime, but lord let it be at ur appointed time, may this scandal of untimely death not come our way henceforth lord.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, has said that the Federal Government would refund at least N20 billion to each of the 36 states of the federation for infrastructural development.
This amounts to a total of N720 billion. Dogara made this known when he visited the Igwe of Ogwuekpele, His Royal Highness Valentine B.C. Onyema Ogidiga, in his palace in Ogwuekpele, Anambra State.
A statement by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Speaker, Iliya Habila, quoted Dogara as saying that the money would assist states in providing critical infrastructures in their respective states.
“Regards to debts being owed to states, I can announce that very soon, a chunk of money will be given to states. It’s being processed and I know that no state will get less than N20 billion from the money that is coming.
“That will be something substantial in the hands of the governors. Those that are spirited, I believe they will be able to translate that money into development so that they support the diversification of the Federal Government,” he said.
Responding to the Igwe’s concern on decaying infrastructure in the state, the speaker said the Federal Government was planning to invest on infrastructure and provision of capital. “Without capital, you cannot invest.
So, these are the two things that this government is devoted to. “By doing so, Nigerians can have enough capital, they will have the needed infrastructure for the establishment of functional industries, and for the evacuation of either solid minerals or agricultural produce. “And we know that agriculture has the potential of providing employment for the majority of our people.
“And I can assure you that when we talk about diversification, it is not just on paper. Recently, there are efforts by the government to source money so that they can begin in earnest the putting up of infrastructure: functional road networks, inter-modal and multimodel connectivity of our transportation and building airports, railways and integrating them with land transportation.
“These are the things that are on the agenda and then giving citizens access to cheap capital that they can use to better their lives and start businesses and provide employment that will earn us foreign exchange.”
Earlier, the Igwe had urged the Federal Government to ensure the provision of infrastructure such as roads in the state to enable farmers transport agricultural produce to the markets.
