I don't agree that Mendy is overrated.
But like i said the odd errors have crept into his game this season, so he needs to wake up.
It's possible that all the accolades and praises are getting too much for him to handle.

I haven't missed any Chelsea game this season and i can't count the number of times Mendy has kicked the ball straight to an opponent 25 yards from goal.

Even at the peak of the crisis when there were several restrictions, they won 6 games on the bounce.
There's certainty now as compared to 4 weeks ago, the new owner will be announced in 3 weeks time tops.

That's not an excuse.
They are professionals, off field incidents shouldn't have so much effect on their performance level. It's not as if they stopped paying them their weekly wages.

Besides there have been several performances like that this season even before the Roman sanctions. Mendy is now fond of making errors every game.
