Good evening ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that I wish to again say that I have received my visa. My unending gratitude goes to Prof. Justwise first of all for his relentless presence on this thread. It may surprise you to know that I have always been a silent observer on this thread and have followed it for as long as I can remember. However time would fail me to list names and give reverence to everyone who made this journey as smooth a ride as possible. To DonOms, HudsonBanks *winks*, Bambamzz, tobee, paradise, dortmund, EAkoteyon,_____________, etc. (please fill your name in if I omit it, I'm human, ain't perfect) If I fail to mention your name, it doesn't mean that I don't acknowledge your priceless advices, like I stated, I'm human. Not entirely true... It's not just for Messi alone, it's a ban from a 1969 statute that forbids parents from giving their babies a surname as a first name.

For those of you thinking there would be some sort of release of energy, in order for there to be a spectacular release of energy, your unstoppable force has to stop and your immovable object has to move. Since neither can happen, they don't interact in any way. You can't extract energy from a thing which cannot slow down, and cannot impart energy to a completely inert object.

HudsonBanks: Obviously teleperformance are the shameless "liars liars pants on fire", I think you should push your storming of their office till Monday. Now the incompetent fellows are taking over visa applications, God abeg oo.

Taking paradise's experience with them yesterday into consideration, I think it's safe to assume that my package will be ready by the end of the day. Because, he received a similar mail yesterday morning and by evening he got an update that his package was ready for pick up. Sadly the message came in late. I ain't taking no chances with these guys. Wish me GODSPEED

So i woke up this morning and Lo and behold, Teleperformance had contacted me. The mail reads thus ;

"UK Visas & Immigration completed the assessment of your application on 12/09/2014 and made their decision. Your passport is now being returned to your point of application"

However, on monday I got a mail from ukvi on monday which also reads thus;

" Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigrations international
enquiry services.

As per the information we can retrieve from the system, a decision has been
made regarding the application and you soon shall be contacted by the VAC
about the outcome."

Analysing these two messages, it obvious that there is some form of contradiction, someone is obviously twisting the truth. If as at Monday, a decision was made according to ukvi, which decision does Teleperformance claim was made again this morning?

Somebody is lying!

jangolo: Guys Big Announcement. Teleperformance is taking over all Visa Applications in Nigeria. VFS is not processing Visa applications anymore from the end of septemeber.

" By the end of September 2014 our new commercial partner, Teleperformance Ltd, will take over management of our visa application centres in Nigeria.

On Monday 15 September, the VFS centre in Abuja will close and the new Teleperformance visa centre will open.

VFS will continue to operate the visa application centre in Ikeja, until Friday 27 September. Teleperformance will open its new centre in Ikeja from Monday 29 September."

You applied on the 19th right? I applied on 20th, so by simple correlation and comparison, my package will be ready by 2mrw. You know what this means, I'm storming teleperformance, missile ready. I'm not waiting for any update from their website.

So i just used the Teleperformance online tracking website and I see the status changed from transferred to ukvi for a decision to this,

"Your application was recieved by UK Visas & Immigration for a decision on 20/08/2014"

I don't understand what they expect me to do with this information, like seriously, I already know a decision has been made and your just updating that it was received!? Are these guys this insensitive and mismanaged? It's pitiable.

We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your

and it should be with you in the next few days.

This is abt 5 working days. Dont know if it would be at teleperformance but i am going to check today. Fingers crossed. Wish me luck

By the way for those who are still waiting, I applied on the 13th of August, got no mail from them but just decided to go there today since I am in Lagos. Today makes it 19th working day, fair enough on my part compared to some others.

And if by any chance anyone here is going to University College London (UCL), that is where I'm headed!

Please is there a way to contact Teleperformance on mobile, I got a mail reply confirming that the ukvi has made a decision on my application. I applied on the 20th of August by the way. Is it possible for the ukvi to inform an applicant on the decision taken on a application, I'm getting really impatient as all my life is practically ob hold as a result of these delays.
