Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by xoftxoul: 8:33am On May 06, 2020 |
AnaCheks: mi pad 4 4gb/64gb My time with the pad so far... The pad is meant for productivity and work which is why I got it in the first place Also Suitable for gaming Don't expect extra much from the camera in low light cos it is built for productivity Lol If your hands can be as stable as OIS or EIS... then you'll get good pic out of it in well lit environment... Same goes for videos Battery will last you beyond a day even with intense use Build of the phone is very solid I'm using the WiFi-only version I noticed on GSMarena that the LTE version don't support most bands... Take note |

stano2: it works, unless the quality is now low. I used it on my former tab, it makes the screen stronger. There was a night my tab hit on the floor with so much force but yet it didn't crack. Although after like 5months, one need to reapply the liquid guard, i noticed mine was fading with time. On the pack of nano liquid, it's written there "one year validity". I agree with you bro that's why I said it's a bit of a gimmick.... I didn't say it's all a gimmick. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by xoftxoul: 5:52am On May 05, 2020 |
pjewelSilva: I got my redmi note 8 two months ago and applied the nano liquid screen protector, so far there's no scratch on it..but someone just told me to get a tempered glass to act as double protection for my screen. Is it advisable to do that? hope the tempered glass won't leave patches on the screen? If applied appropriately and diligently... You won't have bubbles beneath it. The nano thing is a bit of a gimmick right now... You can't be absolutely sure it works. |

olanreyman: Well our individual preferences differs. As for me I would pick s9+ over any phone made in 2020 with lesser spec. We've got people still buying some years old used note 4x, we've got people still holding to theirs tight and still enjoying fluid performance, we've got people still enjoying buttery smooth performing on note 5 Pro. So for s9+ it suddenly becomes a phone that wouldn't not perform overtime again even with the shrewd specs? If phone na beast na beast nothing fit change am. The truth is s9+ would still outperform note 9s in 2050. The phones you quoted lived long because the users bought them new not used. And it makes a whole lot of difference. The shelf life of the s9+ has significantly reduced because it has been used previously. Cos I see that your points are solely based on the chipset chipset and chipset without considering other crucial factors that play an important part in the phone. Just like you said preferences differ. I hope the person we're arguing for .... Lol... Should be able to make an informed decision based on either sides of the deliberation so far. Anyways I admire your intelligence. Nice one |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by xoftxoul: 8:51pm On May 03, 2020 |
olanreyman: True sha. But for me if you keep s9+ and the recent redmi note 9s I would go for s9+ without thinking twice. Sd 720G would never match sd 845 of for years ago It's not about the chipset per se... It's the overall experience in the short-term and long term. If he goes with the s9+ the phone will most likely be problematic than utilitarian under a year or a little over a year. Whereas a new phone is highly probable to take him 3 years and counting. My bet is still on a new phone rather than an old used flagship. |
