Jobs/VacanciesRe: Crazy Things Done During Job Hunting by Xorcyst(m): 5:48am On Dec 07, 2012
I concluded my nysc in Feb 07 and became a lil paranoid from job hunting and low self esteem. Every time I drove out I thought the guards were laughing at me. I had 1st bank, GTB, NBC, NB n access bank test (which I wrote soaked from head to toe). I passed all yet no cigar!!! My nephew had started to stand n I thot he was laughing @ me too.

Eventually in Aug 07 1st bank called and I joined the training school. Immediatelyu I accepted all other employers started making offers. Fast forward to 2011. I resigned after over 3 years service; went for my MSc n just returned home. I am of a new mind-set now. Just started searching for a job but not on that VI exodus P. When a job is ear marked for u; u will get it. Just do your part n show up for your interviews. Cheers

If you  can show the funds in your account for the required period of 28 days, u do not need to include your sponsors account unless all the funds are not present in your account alone. hope you know your sponsor should be  same surname relatives (preferably parents) if individual or corporate/ government. My advice, if it is possible to have all the required funds in your account for the period, that will suffice. the burden of proof on source of funds is no longer there, so it should not be a problem

Regards
@ just wise, if u go thru my quoted post u can see i agree on that fact. i am talking about the age of the account now. he was asking if he needed to open a new account n i was trying to make a point that a new account was unnecessary, and may be will draw suspicion, an account that has been in existence prior to the lodgement of funds is more desirable, 6 months might not b necessary but it atleast proves ownership of account apriori intent to travel

Are u talking abt account for UK student visa or what?
@ Justwise
i believe the dude is asking about his UK visa application as regards the account to be submitted. if it should be a new account, n i stated the duration of the acct i used, which i made known there, yes, i am refering to statements for getting a UK study visa

@Xorcyst thanks for your reply, Does the account have to be a newly opened account or can it be my normal DOM account? Also does it matter if it is in dollars?
It has become common practice to give an account of at least 6 months old (im just telling it as i did), why is it a DOM account youre using tho? and r u trying to get entry to the UK or the US as i can see you r quoting dollars, a new account is however not necessary and rather suspicious

ok, but what other document could she include to bolster her case? she put everything. or should she just point out that her annual emoluments were not taken into account?

good day house

Please i need your help. my fiancee was refused entry clearance visa to the uk stating that they didnot believe her income circumstances could support her stay. she earns 100000 a month, doesnt pay rent as she lives with her folks, received an upfront of 350k injanuary and will get 200k on approval of leave. the nitwit said the trip will cost like 1600gbp, which she has n exceeded in her account. that was the only reason for refusal. no rights of appeal. please what can she do, the decision was erroneous and she put all relevant documents. can she reapply? do i get an invite from someone with a house so that the cost of hotel accomodation is cut off./ kindly assist with your valued advice

regards

Africans really are the mots silly people on the planet.
If cognitive thot is what we lack, coming from someone who just put these quoted line together, ild rather lack that than have what youre packing. i aint british born n bred, but nothing stops me from spending my hard earned money on your schools and vacationing so that your govt can maintain your feeding and up keep. if you've ever heard of the service provider-customer relationship then it wont be so hard for you to understand. but if youre trying to grasp and your head is hurting!!! just give it a rest

Pls can you help me with the requirements for a tourist visa? ive check the ukba site and i really want to know who is eligible to invite someone over(i know i am not), how much funds a tourist needs to show in their account, if someone on the salary of about 100k, working for over a yr is deemed to have strong ties to nigeria and what other kind of evidence one can show as proof of ties?
