Hi. I submitted my application on the 23rd of november and got a text on friday 3rd Dec to come pick up on monday. Considering that I applied previously in august for a sept in take with d same documents or that the january window is not as hectic as september, could that b why it came out so fast? I've been apprehensive since friday but hope in God to see ne through. Pray along with me, I will give u d good news tomorrow. Happy sunday

@ dammiac. Is your acct statement in GBP or naira? Since u have paid everything elsa 9000 gbp will cover. Jus make a little deposit. It won't hurt make sure ur documents are on point. All d best

just pay in a lil money into the acct, even if its 1000 naira so that the end dat on the transaction will b that day showing that btw ur last transaction in july n present the balance is still equal to or above the required amount.
uv got your CAS and the documents on the CAS should be presented to the BHC. jan 7th? that means you gotta apply soonest. just cross ur teez n dot your eyez.

when u mean visa letter is that ur CAS? n then if youve had funds since july, make a little transaction on the acct before you apply.

1> you are required to provide the documents on the CAS, if your school states what they gave u admission with, then the BHC will accept em. i guess that shouls answer question 1 and 2

why are you gonna wait till january 2. im not saying it'l affect the application itself but what about contingencies. i am to resume on the 26th january or so and i put in my aoolication last week. u dig?

my CAS took 3 days to get. maybe its because i was reapplying for a fresh CAS. but the 1st one took about 2 weeks

yes it is normal. they need your data page when they are requesting approval of your CAS from THE UK BORDER AGENCY

the BHC usually request that the documents not be laminated but i wasnt penalized on those grounds wen i submitted my initial application. a couple of my friends who were successful had theirs laminated also.
as long as they can verify your credentials from your university here you should be alright

i have a question too: pls does the BHC check the balances on your account as at the time on the statement or are they interested with the balance event after you apply. im just curious cuz in the instance someone uses his salary account and needs to make payments after the statement date, does it hurt your application if you withdraw?

please if you do not know the intricacies of someones job dont spill ish about it. Bank boys give statements?let me educate you, i work with a bank and know for a fact some people do rubbish like that and spoil our good name. but even after someone does a fake statement for you, do u not think the embassy verifies the originality of statements? it is better not to indulge in shadythings that'l come back to haunt you.

if you solicit for peeps to build your statement, @ least you should have settled some of your bills and have some money there. you cant expect someone to give u about 2million naira( excluding ur study deposit)

Hi, please if someone applied earlier in the year for a student visa and was refused on financial grounds but got all 30 points otherwise(meaning verification has been done). if he now applies for the january window and all financials are now in place, would it take the usual 15 working days to get the result or would it be considerably shorter since all other documents had been verified previously. kindly respond

Your documents seem to be in order but i have a question. on your application will you be claiming to be self sponsored or sponsored by an entity. if you are self sponsored it wont hurt to show your source of funds. e.g, i tend to apply in two weeks too and i plan to include my payslip as well as myoffer/numeration letter. this shows how long i have worked and buttresses the point that i can afford what i claim. or if you are sponsored by an entity you should show proof of such sponsorship. anyhoo i think there should be proof of funds

I believe the BHC make provisions for attested copies of documents. if you can get a validated photocopy of your WAEC certificate, coupled with your WAEC statement you should be fine

I just scrolled up again and saw the extent of your concerns, if your educational sponsor has offered you admission based on your transcript only and lists just that in your CAS as the documentary evidence they used in making their decision, you need not worry, the embassy will scrutinize the things in your CAS.The only snag might be when they proceed to verify the transcript from ur nigerian university

the embassy will still verify your transcript from the school. as long as the transcript is addressed to yourself,you can use it

pls i have a question. i applied for entry visa tier 4 against sept and was turned down because the money in my account did not stay in the account for 28days(going by the conversion @ 250 naira to one pound)

i obtained admission for jan2011 @ the same school, updated my school fees such that i dont have any out standing and have gotten a fresh cas. my bank statement now has the required 5400 GBP in it.
1. can i apply for a visa afresh without any problems?
2. do i have to show evidence of accomodation?
3 do i have to submit all the docs i did the last time(as i now know some where irrelevant)
4. do i need the english testing thingie>?

I had a friend that did the admin review and usually they'l call you to ABJ and ask that you bring ur PP along. then they'l verify youre the one and issue the visa there. usu it take doesnt take up to 28 days, but they take their time

MY QUES: i submitted a very strong application, paid the visa dep, source of funds, cas, the works, unfortunately i calculated the bank statement balance using a lower rate of conversion. hence they refused stating that the funds did not sit for 28 days. that was for a sept admission. i have however gotten a january start date and paid up the school fees.iv worked in a bank for 3 yrs n have all i think i should, was wondering
1:do i put all d documents i used the last time
2: is there anything wrong applying afresh for a new start date, updated fee status and a new CAS?
