I understand what you mean and where you are coming from. But have you ever wondered why they are the most powerful country? They hacked the game already before it even started. All the economics we think we know or understand now, policies and strategies, even some of the so-called books we learnt from, and the recent advancements in artificial intelligence mostly originated from them. The US is playing a multidimensional chess game here, and looking at it from a face value perspective is what they want you to do. Not to give them too much credit or validate their actions; these guys are way too advanced. Now, some Iranians may probably be considering a revenge plot, which would already have been anticipated with countermeasures. At the end, the US might get scratched, and Iranians too, even China and Russia, but guess what, it’s all part of the game because they would always come up top. All in all, I hope we as a nation have an understanding and a right perspective on this and wake up because we are not in the game at all. Not even a pawn. Dogalmighty17: |

rabzy: Some people have also assumed that its every child that actually wants to go school. There are so many who hate school and would rather go and sell something. I know a boy who keeps running away from school and when the dad asked him what he wants to do in life, he said he wants to be an 'Eleran'."Man, you are on point. |

unuane1: Any responsible government will nt go abt throwing money in this fashion. He was elected governor not to a few bt to all. You think dat the widow nd this little gal cases are worse cases among the masses, bt i say no cos there are even worst cases than the two cases. What i expect he or his government to do is to roll out policies that will touch virtually every1 life in the state or direct policies that will specifically target the lesser or under privilage in the state. There are sum widows dat cant even raise #20,000 to start up that small pepper biz that if they engage in will be rollin in atlease #200 or #300 every day. Jst imagine spliting 3M to genuine widows allowing them #50.000 each do u knw hw many widows will benefit frm dat. Do u knw the multiplyin effects. But i will go for the former by rolling out policies dat will directly touch people lives. That's hw u will be greatly remembered for touching a lot of lives.abi o |

A wise man pays attention to details before making any conclusion. Mind you, fingers are not equal, the boy could be an orphan, he could also be the brightest kid in his class.(just being factual though) But then For God's sake, this event could have occurred on a Saturday or a day after school hours. You know, those of us who never hawked, we should thank our God cos it was never our decision to make. The fact is, I see a Nigeria where someday in the future , the only place we will see anything like hawking would be museums and art galleries cos it would have been history. For now, blaming the government or using abusive words ain't gonna change anything instead, we should all shoulder the consciousness of contributing our own quota to changing every wrong no matter how small or irrelevant, irrespective of our religion, tribal differences or political ideologies. Irrespective of the so called disease of corruption that we have inflicted on ourselves because of our greed and lack of love and irrespective of our present situation. I believe, I have faith and I can see the change gradually crippling in. Let's just believe it then, we will have it. God bless Nairaland, God bless Nigeria. *please let's share and pull our strength together and take our stand. akinbiyiakinyemi@gmail.com* |

Personally, I think it all boils down to what I wanna achieve and the means I utilise in order to achieve those things. Unfortunately, many of our banker folk trade the sacrifice of time and pleasure they make while working, buying exotic cars that are more liabilities instead of saving and investing. The key is not just planning your retirement immediately you receive your appointment letter but, not losing focus of ur destination and what you want to achieve while planning. |
does guys re dum. They should be learnt from tonetto (fast and furious 4&5). |
