jomonic:You seem to get it all wrong Sir, the Yoruba's would not waste a second to label u "Omo-Igbo" the moment they find out you are Igbo (I served in Yorubaland and that was my name throughout my service year), back east most people tend to treat you special the moment they find out you can speak Yoruba ( there is aura that comes with it) almost all igbos based in d west can speak Yoruba and non of the yorubas down east can speak Igbo fluently, Igbo's don't hate yorubas rather they hate Yoruba Muslim, because its believed they are not reliable...as a matter of fact even yorubas treat Yoruba Muslims with disdain and conscious of their evil antics. I have trustworthy Yoruba friends. |
IPOB, I-POB or what ever you choose to call them is the only reason this country has reasoned, I honestly would not want war nor Biafra... Buh if it requires IPOB for this country to restructure, then so be it. Under Obiano's govt more members of this group have been killer than Fulani herdsmen massacre. The truth be told, police have no right to shoot at armless crowd...at least they have tear gas or use other non lethal measure, police only shoot when being shot at...that its IPOB doesn't give them automatic licence to kill. |

pennywys:I refuse to be an Agent of negativity, when will we begin to appreciate our own as Nigerians irrespective of ethno-religious leaning and political affiliation. An Igbo man makes a lot of money - they blame it on drugs and illicit businesses Igbo man makes first class abroad - they term it a third generation university Igbo man air his honest political opinion - they accuse him of being a separatist Igbo man sends his kids to best schools and after so much private lessons at home and they make their WAEC exams - they call it exam malpractise. Oga we go run commot for this country for your likes?...Haba!, learn to appreciate good things for once, We down here in Abia spend alot on private lessons more than any other state in other to support this kids(ask around). |

obailala:Well, I only stoop to buttress d "fact" dat in midst of plenty we are yet!...broke! |
Just once again, wen I tot APC is about get it right with dis anti-corruption war by givin us a concrete result, they come up once again wit a spined unrealistic figure to further decimate and stir up anger against the opposition party!..it's obvious that for APC campaign is not yet over, let's say the figure's genuine...dat means we have 3.4t returned loots, 3t TSA returns, 3t frm FIRS and 10-14 Billion a day frm crude oil(dats 5t in one yr) = 14t and we are still broke? C'mon who's fooling who is dis country? I pray for PMB to succeed (cos if he doesn't we will all bear d brunt irrespective of our tribe or political affiliation ) alas! He's yet surrounded by dsame scavengers dat put us in dis mess in the first place!..be wise n Pray for Naija becos our saviour is yet to come! |

well it is quite understandable that the security challenges and disasters that Nigeria has faced(and is still facing) shortchanged the performances of President Goodluck Jonathan, he still has my vote and kudos for not using the Odi formular(that OBJ used in Odi community in Bayelsa State during his tenure) on the affected boko haram areas in the North, And for having a stand point and not shortchanging the indicting and probing of Babanga Tukur's son in the petroleum subsidy probe(which alot of politicians still see as 'biting the hand that feeds you') but still the president still has a lot of work to do in sensitive areas like control of information, provision for more sustainable and tangible value for capital project in 2013 budget (to address key sectors like power, education and health care), he should give maximum concentration to the idea of creation of state policing in the constitutional amendment to help tacking the security insurgency. i look forward to a better Nigeria come 2013 where peace shall reign. |
