Kicking southerners out of Abuja will serve southerners right. In any case, if Abuja is what it takes, then let the bloody jihadists go with it. |
Big Spif, Do not be daft please. We are dealing here with Nigerians, not with US marines. Are you saying that more Nigerian christians than Nigerian muslims are in SAUDI or pass through the country, with all the annual islamic pilgrimage? You are kidding right? And who ever told you that the so-called American marines are christians? How many Oyinbo dey go church? |
Granted that people have a right to religious belief, but IMHO, the Yoruba people have put the south in jeopardy by reason of their overwhelming non-discriminate religious inclination. Essentially, southern christians cannot wage a similar war against Islam because the Yoruba, the second main group in the south, are equally divided in their faith. |
bilymuse:You lie, my friend. The Igbos want to leave, in spite of the oil. Please tell your Nigerian brothers in the presidency and the house of assembly to let them go. |
Shame on you Babasin for even contemplating condemning the Saudi authorities. The guy deserved the ultimate punishment, just like the one hanged in Singapore. These holier-than thou muslims supposedly go to SAUDI for religious purposes, not for drug couriering. |
DRANOEL, I hope you can read. If you can, then the names of the Nigerians in the links I provided speak for themselves. Moreover, it is mostly muslims who go to Saudi. |
Northern Nigerians, both male and female, are constantly beheaded in Saudi Arabia for drug traficking. This is a piece of news that southern Nigerians do not know about. Northerners have been making so much noise about how southerners are the ones committing crimes outside of the country. But available evidence says otherwise. And this is particularly so considering that Northerners helped significantly to ruin Nigeria's economy in the last 30-40 years. Their favorite destination is the middle east and there they secretly ferry drugs. I guess you are talking about a fungus. Type Microsporum gypsum on google; and you get loads of hits that will assist you. Good luck. |
All the three former governors were formally charged on Monday with all of them pleading not guilty to all the counts. While Kalu stood for about two hours in the dock to enter his plea for the 107 counts against him, Turaki had to contend with 32 counts, while Dariye’s was 14 counts. Turaki had to salute the stamina of Kalu for standing all through the plea-taking exercise by saying “you are strong o” when Kalu was asked to step down from the dock. http://www.tribune.com.ng/17072007/news/news1.html |
Sure. Abia is in the Niger Delta, together with Imo. But Ijaw people have now what they call core-Niger Delta where they have imaginarily excluded the above two states just because they are Ibo (sic) |
When is Tinubu's turn to face the music? That guy stole Lagos blind. |
News that a British court had convicted Terry Waya of money laundering—and will be sentenced in August. is indeed refreshing. Waya is a troubling creature, epitomizing the plague of sudden, inexplicable wealth. A loud, exceptionable braggart, Waya is, in the Nigerian lingo, loaded. Combining self-inflation and social gracelessness in equal measure, he’s given to the most obscene mode of self-advertisement. A few years ago, he boasted to a Nigerian publication that he only drinks bottled water from Paris! This, from a man whose source of wealth and means of livelihood remain a mystery. Waya is one of the few 419ners from the North of the country. |
