kamer:Give us an evidence of ambode stealing funds so people can respond. |
kamer:You either got it twisted or you are mischievous. Ambode is not a politician under fashola. He was more or less a civil servant who rose through the rank and file to become the Accountant General and Permanent Secretary. Neither was he sacked as you claim. He retired after a meritorious service to Lagos state, to set up a consultancy services firm. That is how you guys said Buhari had no WAEC but now, NTA-your mouth piece now says Buhari is a Master's Degree Holder. Mind you, there is nothing wrong with being a pharmacist but because you are biased you now claim pharmacy is nobler than Accounting as a profession. There is non of them that is second to the other. It all depend on what you do with them. Jimi Agbaje obviously did nothing of record with his pharmacy training and I wonder why? Stella Okoli build Emzor Phamaceuticals Limited in Aswani, Isolo. They manufacture tablets, syrup and injectibles while she employs Hundreds of staff. Jimi agbaje is dispensing drugs in Apapa with a similar training. What Ambode has done with his Accounting training is in public domain |
AgentMS:He has seen a willing tool in Igbos in Lagos. Unfortunately, our Igbo brothers in Lagos are bent on playing "the spoiler" game, forgeting that if Lagos is great its for all Lagosians, if its greater, its also for all. If it goes down, it will also affect all. |
mrmetoo1:The most shocking thing is that apart from being "jobless" or "track-recordless" as the case may be, he belongs to PDP a party that has no plans whatsoever. He speaks of bold ideas but couldnt mention in what areas. If he is talking about the bold ideas he has applied to his pharmacy shop that has made it remain a single shop for 30 years, then Lagos is heading for trouble if they vote for Jimi Agbaje. Obviously, he's bringing "bold stagnation" and "bold Failure" to Lagosians. |
crazygod:9, Randle Road, Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria. You could have asked without being vulgar. |
ozoigbondu:Very expensive indeed. He goofed but that should not be used to judge who become lagos next governor. Administrative acumen, cognate experience, financial wizardry should be the KEY parameters with which they should be assessed.. AMBODE stands tall in all and far above Agbaje whose only speciality is in dispensing drugs!..Lagos is much more than an hospital or a pharmacy!

According to Pat Utomi, thats the way Kabiyesi jokes and people should try and understand him. His joke should not be construed out of context.

vemmawealth:It goes without saying my Sister. Do you also know that the Chemist Shop employs just about 6 people after operating for 30 years. I wonder how Jimi Agbaje hopes to run Lagos State Exco, civil service, parastatals, etc, especially now that PDP has lost in the centre, they will eat up lagos revenue without thinking. |
Jimi Agbaje runs a Chemist Shop in Apapa for the last 30 years and it has remains a shop till today. He also speak good English, socializes and have suave manners. But thats as far as it goes. He is NOT the owner of Mopson, Nemeith, May and Baker, Emzor (built from scratch by a woman -Stella Okoli), Tuyil, etc. However, Akinwumi Ambode has seen it all in terms of local and international education, exposure and career. He's a first-class product with a sound and creative mind demonstrated in academics and he got to the peak of his career in grand style. See attached picture for his track record.
|
LubricatingOil:Not only that my brother. He has no track record. He runs a Chemist in Apapa for the last 30 years and it has remains a shop till today. Can you compare that with the International and Local experience and exposure of Ambode who got to the peak of his career in grand style? See attached picture

kendrick9:And if the yawa start, you no fit run go village o. Nothing dey there to do or to chop o. Thats why as much as they been killing igbos in the north, you have not abandoned the place. Not supporting threats from anyone including Oba Akiolu but we shall see. |

Former Nigerian head of state, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, has called the people of Rivers State to support him in his quest to contest the 14 February, 2015 presidential election in furtherance of his drive to secure Nigeria and its people as well as guarantee the future of the coming generations. Buhari spoke at Government House, Port Harcourt, today, when he came to invite Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and his supporters to join him at his formal declaration to contest the 2015 presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress. In his response,Amaechi praised Buhari for his principles. Amaechi commended Buhari for his qualities in a country where politics is bedevilled by tribal sentiments, saying “those who describe you as a religious bigot do not know you. Frankly, I used to think that way when I was in the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, but all that changed when I joined the APC and had the opportunity to relate with you very closely as a politician that is truly detribalized in the true sense of the word”. Amaechi further explained: “I remember the question you asked me while we were discussing the problems of Nigeria and the erroneous impression some people have about you as a religious bigot. And you asked me: how can you and Obasanjo had been tribalistic at the time both of you served in the Nigerian army? Having related closely with you politically, I can say confidently that you are a nationalist and detribalized Nigerian”. Governor Amaechi then pointed out: “The problem that you have in politics which I have come to observe, is that those who managed your image in the past did not manage it properly. They allowed the erroneous label of you being a religious bigot to stick. Let me take myself for example, if you accuse me once, I accuse you 20 times and then go to the media to tell them my own side of the story”. “As you can see, most of those who have come to welcome you to government house are Christians. The percentage of your supporters in Rivers State who are Muslims are not more than 10 per cent. So, you can now see that the majority of your supporters here are non-Muslims. It is evident that your support base in Rivers State is not based on tribal sentiments. As for us, you are a detribalized Nigerian nationalist.” Amaechi emphasized: “Now, you know that Christians like you. I hope that before the elections, you will have the opportunity to interact with many more Nigerians to enable them get to know you better and appreciate the ideals that you canvass and represent. We know that you want the best for Nigerians”. Former National Chairman of the PDP, Chief Audu Ogbeh, stated that he and other prominent Nigerians were working with Gen. Buhari because of their conviction that he has the ability and capability to re-invent Nigeria and reverse the negative way the country is moving. The former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Masari; Former Governor of Benue State, Chief George Akume, among others, including Senators and members of the House of Representatives were in Buhari’s entourage. http://thenewsnigeria.com.ng/2014/10/14/amaechi-buhari-a-greatly-misunderstood-nationalist/ |
OreMI22:They can never prevail and I dont need anyone to tell me before I know we are not Saudi can not be saudi and can never be saudi. This is more like the reason they need to play this card to let us know we are not at any risk. |
OreMI22:Fortunately, we are not Saudi Arabia. So its possible. When the chips are down, the acceptable and workable thing will have to be done. Else, GEJ continues to loot |
BRAV0O:My allegation? You cant comprehend at this level obviously. |
BRAV0O:You dont seem to be sophisticated in making political choices and thats how we got here as a nation. The it must be me syndrome. Your eyes are covered by religious veil. Is Jonathan corrupt because hes a christian? Is Atiku a political orphan because hes muslim? Was Shagari a Christian? What about babangida and Abacha? Were they not thieves and corrupt leaders. Were they corrupt because they are muslims? Religion should not be an issue here. We simply need to have good strategy to dislodge the thief called GEJ. Buhari is Good but he has issues. APC has the potential but they need to come clean of islamisation allegations. Think |
BRAV0O:Let me tell you why I strongly suggest christian candidate. 1. We want to see Jonathan gone 2. Only APC has the potential to send him packing 3. APC has now been strongly labelled as an islamic party who will islamise Nigeria when i power 4. Buhari has also been caught making statement that are grossly pro-islamisation. 5. This allegations are very serious in christian communities 6. We need the vote of both christians and muslim to win 7. We are not interested in the religion of the would be president 8. However, Jonathan must go. 9. For him to go, APC should be seen as neutral religiously speaking. 10. To do this, its only by fielding a christian candidate and muslim vice. I believe, the whole country will vote Jonathan out if this is done. Otherwise, Jonathan may have a smooth home run and we might have stubbornly put ourselves into another four years of slavery, deprivation looting and hunger. |
nkpommpko:Buhari is a very good brand with political baggages. aside from that, he is a good leader. He has to deal with the baggage by supporting another candidate to become president. |
idumuose:I dont think its that bad. just that we go to the extreme in our thoughts. We cannot afford to further Jonathan in office beyond 2015. Hes goin to loot us dry. |
idumuose:Nothing is impossible bro. Thats if they really want to give us the change we desire. The baggage the good general carries is just too heavy. as much as I like him and as much chance as he has to get it right this time, it keeps reverberating more and more. |
I wonder how many of you manage to pass in school. u did not even try to analyse my post objectively. most of you are sick with bigotry and sentiment. am a buhari supporter. i believe hes the best man we have for the job as at today. am not his supporter because hes muslim. am not even a muslim. i wish he can win d presidency. but he carries a nasty baggage based on utterances he made along religious lines. this has made many nigerians label him and d APC a sharia/islamic party. hes not a very good sell religiously speaking. am suggesting christian candidate because if we overlook this weakness stubornly, refusing to strategize against it, it may give GEJ an easy ride to continue his pilfering agenda beyond 2015. That will mean another 4 yrs of suffering |
Obiagelli:Some of them are actually educated |
