PoliticsRe: Ayobo Road Construction - What A Disgrace To ACN And Fashola by xtianh(m): 8:34am On May 02, 2013
This is another big shame to Lagos state Government. Lagosians keeps crying about heavy traffic instead of calling the government to build more access roads or more link roads. When honest people point out the mistakes of your government instead of facing the fact you tend to be blind folded by the token amount being paid to you to defend them.

eko ilee: The fact that Lagosians sent him back to Alausa with %82 landslide victory renders your opinion usual bad bele irrelevant.
82percent indeed. I could remember when Fashola was campaigning he used Lagos Road workers to fill up some potholes in the street, today those roads are worst than what they used to be. I am coming with a picture of one of those roads.... Just wait
Lagos is like any other part of Nigeria. The difference is that millions of people live in this small geographical location.
So what's your point, because it is just like every other part of Nigeria roads should be left untarred, and later some praise singers will be chanting Eko o ni baje and Fashola is working.
PoliticsRe: Shameful Look Of Street In Over Hyped Lagos State by xtianh(op): 12:09am On Apr 27, 2013
Lagos government should pay attention to more street roads and this will in turn help to de congest the use of major roads and this will eventually result to reduced traffic in these major roads and also aid free movement. Let the poor mass in the street enjoy dividends of democracy.

Now ask yourself this same Question and see how unwise you will be Are we in pre 1999? Do Lagos still generate the same IGR compared to pre 1999? Thanks

Oga Lagos is Overhyped see Los Angeles California USA... The home of all the Stars and big names you see on TV!! Every city has its down side, its inevitable!!!
Looking at this roads I don't see any one being Untarred or filled with portholes. So guy do I pray for Lagos to be like this so u will be satisfied and praise the governor that he is doing well? If so then look up the dictionary and get a name that will qualify your stupidity. Thanks

abbk000: Please see some areas in the UK... You would not expect to find places like this in a developed country like this.

We NIGERIANS are our own worst enemies, Fashola has done for Lagos what no other Governor has done. You cannot expect 100% transformation, its not possible. Rather than be critical let us learn to applaud the good in people. Shamefully you could only upload two bearly visible photos, please show us the more that is to come...
So!! What's my business with a dumping ground in the UK probably that's where u can afford to live and u want Lagos to also look like that.. Sorry Fashola is Working Lagosians are Suffering.
@OP its obvious you took those photographs on only one street, for equity and fairness of judgement, please take a valid sample of bad streets in Lagos at least in a local govt so that people will stop insulting each other on this thread.[/quote Don't worry I have loads of more pics coming up this time I have more than five streets in Isolo local government area when I went there for a visit last week.

Guy I have also lived in shasha, around Moshalashi bus stop. I also knw how bad streets are in that area. The only way we can help improve this areas or get attention from the Ogas at the top is by uploading the pics of those bad areas

These are called BillBoard roads some of them only exist on the billboard while the tax payers on the street are suffering from bad and dilapidated roads infrastructure. Lagos is over hyped in the media while individuals are suffering in the street.

eggheaders: dumbbells and uncle fash is asking gej and the f.g to handover those roads cause of the bad state of the roads.fash took it upon himself to rehabilitate the ikorudu road and lagos-badagry expressway.the apapa-oshodi,airport road and lagos abeokuta road really shows how good your dumb f.g are fixing lagos road olodo upon twenty.
So your government left roads that are accrued to them and are facing FG roads where they will siphon more money and thereafter concession it.

eko ilee: Why are you paying this insincere Nigerian clown any attention even with his silly double or triple ID?
Kindly face the issue on ground and don't insult the moniker. The issue here if u don't knw is about the poor state of roads in streets of Lagos its obvious and undeniable so face the fact.

Olaolufred: YOU MADE A MISTAKE.
NO MAN ON EARTH SAID LAGOS IS NOW A NEW YORK OF AFRICA.
BUT LAGOS HAS DEVIATED DRAMATICALLY FROM THE DECAY IT USED TO BE.
WITH CONTINUITY, THERE IS HOPE OF THE LAGOS YOU ARE EXPECTING.
SO, THIS ROADS HAD BEEN FOR 30 YEARS,
HOWEVER, CHANGES WILL COME TO THEM ONE BY ONE.
AS YOU CAN NOT DENY A CHANGE, YOU WILL NEED TO BE PATIENT AND CO-OPERATIVE WITH THE GOVT FOR MORE CHANGES.
Nice reply and more sensible...

ba7man: Who told you they pay tax?? A very small population in Nigeria pay Tax. Go around Nigerian cities and you'll see worse.
so the yearly lock up shop and shop permit collected by the local government here in Lagos, are they being given to charity homes or are paid as tithe to churches and mosques?
PoliticsRe: Shameful Look Of Street In Over Hyped Lagos State by xtianh(op): 3:38pm On Apr 26, 2013
asala1: Yes, some streets are like this in lagos, but I have come to understand that many of the untarred streets are pipeline streets. They cannot be tarred. An example is the Obawole-jojo-shaga road in agege.
Nice talk and good example. Now if such roads cannot be tarred, what should be the best solution to those roads? And secondly these roads in question are nowhere near any pipeline. So are u defending Lagos and encouraging them to abandon their roads and leave them un tarred or were u paid to defend them?

ba7man: C'mon, you don't expect me to start explaining my sentence as if you're 5yrs old. If you insist, there is no location in the world that doesn't have its own eye-sore areas. You didn't expect the largest urban sprawl in Nigeria to be all flowery and sweetness. No occurence in life is like that.
so the money generated from these streets where are they taken to? If those citizens that pays tax through various medium cannot enjoy common good road then what are u saying?
PoliticsRe: Shameful Look Of Street In Over Hyped Lagos State by xtianh(op): 3:01pm On Apr 26, 2013
