Restitution is important as a Christian same with tithe payment. The man at the cross were Jesus was hinged only had that privilege then. It is not an excuse for a Christian to commit sin and wait till is at the point of dying to repent.
A good example of restitution is found in Luke 19

Zacchaeus repented, and his sincerity was evident in his immediate desire to make restitution. Here was a man who was penitent and contrite, and the proof of his conversion to Christ was his resolve to atone, as much as possible, for past sins.
The same holds true for anyone who truly knows Christ today. Genuine repentance leads to a desire to redress wrongs. When someone becomes a Christian, he will have a desire born of deep conviction to do good, and that includes making restoration whenever possible. The idea of “whenever possible” is crucially important to remember.

Tithing is not for carnal minds. And it sounds stupid but spiritually wise.There is a covenant in where you put your money for spiritual purpose. Pay to satan and loose the rest,give to God (the church) and have plenty.this is a spiritual wisdom. But the truth is pastors should not emphasize on 10 percent but the more you give the plenty you have.
