chinjo: The bible say wisdom is profitable to direct. It also went further to say that obedience is better than sacrifice. In all of Sabo the boy chose the gutter by command fence to go and excavate sand as if that was not enough, he was asked to stop, instead of him to quietly leave there to another place, he started advancing towards the soldier. That not reasonable at all. The soldier does not have to wait for the unimaginable before opening fire considering the fact that thousands of children were in the school. He had to make a choice and a fast one for that matter. In as much as I agree with you about your wisdom whatever, but is shooting a man dead the solution from a supposedly trained soldier , what happen to his legs ..Too much blood in this country crying |

Iamvictor: Traditionalists and indigenes of Ikere Ekiti in Ekiti state yesterday prevented the state governor from cutting down a sacred tree blocking the dualization of a road in the community. Governor Fayose was said to have ordered his men to uproot the tree for the commencement of a road dualization project in the area but they were sent packing after traditionalists lit bonfires at Odo Oja area of Ikere Ekiti. In the heat of the crisis generated by the bonfires at Odo Oja area of the town, Fayose reportedly led armed policemen to the area to put the situation under control.

They should let the tree fight for itself now There is a community in Kogi, the government did everything possible to bring down a man's house for construction reasons, up till now if you go there the reminant of condemn construction trucks are there all damaged beyond repair, the government had to let the house be and only recently they fenced the house for the owner. If truly the tree has powers it should fight for itself |

OtemAtum: if people sin because they can easily buy animals for sacrifice, is it not better than for fictitious Jesus to now die for the sins? Don't you think it will even make people commit sin 'easilier' since they can now simply acquire forgiveness from Yahweh by simply sayin a 1 minute prayer of confession and repentance.
IMO, I think Yahweh didn't reason well by sending fictitious jesus to die, because he has just made sin easier to commit. God save your soul |

Christianity Etc › Forces From The Village by xtivin(op): 1:35pm On May 31, 2017 |
Yes, there are forces from the village you come from that tend to push you to either do good or do evil. Example of such is Samarita in the bible, all written records concerning people from this town clearly shows they are kind hearted and merciful. Another town the bible always condemn is Jerusalem, it is recorded as a town filled with evil forces. In Mattew 11 and Luke 10, Jesus was condemning some towns because they resisted the gospel. There was also the only case recorded in the bible that jesus had to perform a miracle twice to make a blind man see, If we read carefully we will find out Jesus led that man by hand out of the city to heal him. But there is only one power that can cease those forces, that power is in Christ Jesus because he is the head of all principalities and powers. He will wipe away all ordinances and handwriting of man over your life. |
Career › Re: 5 Social Media Mistakes Most Likely To Cost You A Job by xtivin(m): 1:24pm On May 31, 2017 |
Opinionated: Your social media posts might win over friends and get you few hundred or thousand likes, shares or retweets, however they can also cost you a job. Jumia Travel, the leading online travel agency, shares 5 social media mistakes most likely to cost you a job.
You Complain About Work
When hiring managers sometimes browse through social media profiles of candidates, imagine what their impression of you will be when they see ‘job complaint posts’ on your wall. They are very likely going to be turned off and conclude that you are a potential danger to their brand (mainly because there is nothing to stop you from bad mouthing their firm too). The question then would be, ‘Would I want to hire a person that can be a potential danger to the brand of my firm?’ and the answer to that question is quite clear.
You’re Vulgar or Offensive
If you (with a personal account that you can be identified with) are offensive or vulgar enough on social media to warrant mentions or retweets, it’s out there for everyone to see and it’s especially visible to headhunters or hiring managers. For hiring managers or headhunters, it speaks volumes about your maturity and professionalism level (or lack thereof). God help you if the firm you applied to is in anyway affiliated to anyone or any organization you have insulted on social media (Sergi Guardiola comes to mind here).
Sharing Your Latest Job Offer
Some job offers are sometimes confidential and unintended to be shared in a space as public as social media. As a result, some firms react negatively to this, may see you as having broken confidentiality and may revoke their job offer. In the event, you can share the good news about the job offer with everyone and anyone, be sure you don’t say anything negative about it which can be seen by an employee or anyone affiliated with the firm or company.
Mocking or Complaining About Your Customers
Especially if you are working in the service industry, this is another social media activity to avoid. Like complaining about your boss or work, mocking or complaining about customers can also have equally negative effects. Complaining about your customers shows your company in a bad light, and if any of your customers see this complaint, they are most likely to report to your employer who is very likely to not tolerate such behavior from an employee.
Contradictory Posts
A candidate once narrated a heart-wrenching story of how she had to quit her previous job because she was injured in a car accident and was unable to return from a leave of absence. The hiring manager then decided to look through her social media profile and found pictures of her lounging and waterskiing on vacation around the same period. That was all that was needed to knock her out of the running for the position. Be careful with social media.

edidiongmichael: What Happened To Me On Sunday Service In Church
What's your candid view on this?
Recently I joined a church, I know how to play piano but not really well. The church has a standard pianist that plays literally on every church's event. When they discovered I knew how to play, they gave me the opportunity to be playing at least 2 times a month. Honestly, I didn't see myself as a church worker because I've never been to their meeting before. I only play when they tell me to otherwise I stay at the congregation. Last Sunday, I wore a shirt with a suit trouser and a sandals to church, then I wasn't expected to tuck in my shirt with a sandals. When I got to church, the pastor ordered me out of the church to tuck in before coming inside and instructed the ushers to not let me in until I tucked in my shirt. The church was still on and I got so ashamed and embarrassed. Everybody's eyes were on me during that time.
As confused as I was, I angrily left the church that moment to another nearby church.
Then I started thinking, Do we really have to tuck in our shirts to show how holy we are in church? What do you think had prompted the pastor to order me out? Do Christians have a dressing code? Will I be judged on the final day for letting loose my shirt to church? What's your view on this? Op, You were wrong to have left the church because your pastor scolded you. First, I don't think you are born again, because if you were born again you would know what it means to obey authorities it is this that will qualify you to be a worker. So it's obvious you weren't properly baked. Secondly, a church like redeem for instance is full of laws and regulations hence you must be disciplined to be a worker. Thirdly it is believed that a pastor is a Messanger of God, is that how you will run away from God if he scold you ..Finaly, in as much as the pastor lack professionalism, yet you are to be blamed more |
