You are still wrong. The tree doesn't supply electricity. Its just like saying a socket supply electricity, that is technically wrong. A generator or a power plant (A.C) can only supply electricity

what the person did was to pass a wire through the tree and the current has it's source from either a generating set or from a power supply.

I don't know how ppl believe these kind of things... I'm an Electrical Engineer and I can say this is not scientifically possible. Its not even a direct current supply. Alternating current for that matter
