I was so surprised the day I saw one pregnant woman working in a building site in Ughelli. It's a common thing in most part of Delta state (Urhobo area) where the women are the bread winners. Even some of their women that have shops travel to Onitsha to buy goods. Go to their markets you'll see women selling meat, something men usually sell in major markets across the country. I wonder what their men do, probably waiting for amnesy or sth. 1 Like |
