Siga: ...I am not dulling folks my Oga....let me detail my work day here....and those that have met with me or called me several times from Nairaland can attest to this :

It drives me NUTS, I mean NUTS, when I hear guys that are working on their future or planning to move forward on their career paths claim they are too busy to do a little bit of research.....I mean, what is worth doing at all, is worth doing well....

I have 2 jobs. 1 fulltime and 1 part time....I have 2 kids I personally pick up from school every day, feed them, do their assignments with them and get them ready for bed cos my wife works late shifts...

I even work once awhile doing web development with a friend that does it fulltime...I help out when he is too busy and i chip in few hrs....

And finally, Nairaland....I spend few hrs going back and forth to give back....as I am typing this...I am on my full time job....just going back and forth....

So...I hate it with a passion when guys come here and say they are too busy to read or research....

Coleran: @siga cdhc requested that my friend pay 1 yr tuition but the college insisted he pay only the due fee on his loa.
Please what is your advise?

Wht time did ur friend apply for his trv and when did cdhc contact him for his medical......?

Invincible1: Hi all, I was at the Lagos leg of the Canada Education fair on Saturday the 26th mainly to attend the visa application seminar. I did not learn anything significantly different from all that's been discussed on this forum.

However,the major info I got which explains the delay in Visa processing times is that there are only two Visa officers processing the Canadian visa applications of the whole Naija applicants ....whether it be student, tourist, Visiting, etc visas. You can imagine our shock.

Also, CDHC will soon start E-applications -I think this should be in the month of March or May,I can't remember when exactly but before October this year when the Biometrics requirements will also come into effect.

The good news about the E-application is that apart from filling and submitting the application forms,Questionnaire etc online, you will only have to scan and upload all your documents-including the data page of your International passport online. So, no more CDHC holding unto your Int'l passports for ever.

However, if they are not clear about any of your documents they will write you and ask to see the Original copies. Also very importantly,when they are very certain that they want to issue an applicant the TRV, they will request for Him/Her to submit the Original Int'l passport for them to view/sight and at the same time place the TRV in it.

Hi earth greener. Pls, I dnt seems to understand d figure I saw on uni Saska & Mun webistes. Can u pls tell me d exact tuitn fees for Msc Enginerring jst want to be sure because d figures ar confusing. Pls, I need d info 4rm any peeps here.for eg, on Mun website I saw program fee 953cad$ per semester ie 953*6 = 5,718 plus 16,400cad$. My questn is does dat mean d total tuitn for 2yrs Msc engr is 22kcad$?

Memorial University $5,718

Square65: No, Georgia is not the only state that gives internationals in-state. Some schs give it even immediately one resumes as long as the requirements are met.

Kindly list the other schools in other states dat do gives internationals in-state tuition

i was @ cdhc today and i filled d form @ d gate...... 30mins later, a lady call my cell phone and was telling me that my application is still being processed and they will contacted me as soon as they reach a conclusion. i was asked what was they cause for the delay and she said she is not in the best position to tell me that and advised me to be patient.

will be traveling back tomorrow........

bro na only GRUBERS COMPLETE GRE GUIDE (PARTS 01 and 02) u forward give me, abeg help me with the part 03 and 04 of it so i can finish extracting the file, as for the barron i got dat complete part 1 to 4, i jus need only d part 3&4 of d grubers...... thanks for ur help as well as d image display u shared wit us, it was so helpful

bigfrancis21: This is because the pdf book was compressed and broken into 4 parts in order to be contained in the e-mail (maximum limit is 25MB and the book is 35MB). I included a note on how to extract the book in one of the e-mails.
For the grubers, download to your computer all the 4 different parts contained in the two e-mails I sent. To extract it you'll need the poweriso.exe software I used to compress it in the first place. Incase you don't have it installed already, I also uploaded the software and sent in 1 of the two e-mails. Download and install it. Then run. Click on open, select all the 4 parts of the grubers, then click on extract and the book is extracted. Do same for the barrons.

Don Cipher: Filled an inquiry form @ the gate stating my purpose (No update 17wks after submission & classes resumed last wk). I waited 30mins then i got a call.

Caller: Ur application is still being processed & u will be contacted, can u get an extension frm ur school or a deferal?

I explained my school said i can't resume 4 winter after Jan 7th & so i have requested for a deferal.

Caller: What was their response?
I said it's in process

Caller: Ok
