I also added my corrected family information form, with a letter stating the mistake I made in it.

awhales: I applied in memorial university last year and my admission was declined... I hope to learn from you guys applying so that I will know what I did wrong..I studied geophysics in FUTA and came out with a 2.2... Also want to know if there are schools in canada I can undergo postgraduate...thanks all..great job here...

what course are u planning on taking up? U can search thru humber college, uni manitoba, uni of northern british columbia and seneca college......... Hope dis helps

OjaP: I am always happy whenever I see Geologists on here. There are many schools who will admit you for masters. I will only advise you not to submit your original transcript from OAU to the school. Instead, submit an evaluated one from WES, don't ask me why. The schools convert rubbish.....lol, all they do is simple maths and not evaluate the transcript course by course.

What is your GRE score? Well, a score of 1000 is fine. Most schools do not have the Petroleum Geology option, you may want to watch out for that. Abi na Hydrogeology you wan do?.....lol. California State University, Northridege, Sacramento State University and City University of Newyork, City college will all give you a conditional admission with your 2.2 and a GRE of 1000. I have more schools to give if you want. Goodluck.

Personal statement helps alot, cos mehn u can wash them wella. . . . I am sure mine was one of the reasons they picked me. . . Plus do not apply to top ranking schools if ur gpa isn't that superb, shift ur bar a lil lower. . .

I knew it would take ages to get to Nigeria, so I was proactive and changed ♍Ɣ address to a UK address. it took 4 days through regular post to get to the UK, and someone coming to naija the next day, brought it 4 me. So it took 5 days to get to me.

If u'r yet to recieved words from cdhc does not mean dey dont consider undergraduate student. There are lots of undergraduate students who have gotten their TRV for dis fall

bumdish: That was the information on my under my profile in the portal but it has now changed to "Your application reference number NGA/_ _ _ _ _ is now ready for collection. Please visit the the centre where you submitted your application with your receipt and identification proof bla bla bla".

i would advise u call VAC or better still visit them as soon as possible for clearification
