[b] I doubt if her application can be processed further without her proficiency exam... Generally, the School of Graduate Studies at University of Alberta waives English Language proficiency exam for students from naija, but Chemical engineering department has their own special list of counties exempted of which naija is not listed... I wonder what's so special about the Dept at uAlberta though.

I advise she quickly enrols for an exam ASAP or forfeit the application fee and check other schools in other provinces (the 1st Option seems to be the best bet right now considering the fact that most schools' application deadline for Fall session has passed)

I contacted the school with my questions which have not been answered yet then i checked their facebook page and someone posted "scam", i just want to be sure before i pay the non refundable application fee.

Bow valley college is a good scool and it's no scam. Go ahead and put in ur application should need help just let me know.

CIC will send you the letter to you through mycic the same way the contacted you for medicals and passport request. Don't trouble your mind about it

you can enter without the introdutory letter. They already have your details with them @ d port of entry, but it is advice you have a copy of the introductory letter when going. Dont worry the letter will come within a one week period for those that apply thru d paper route

My dear, na luck be all....... Sometimes they do ask some to pay full tuition fee and board when they are called for medicals, while sometimes they don't ask few others to. Just submit ur app, gather ur down in case u been ask to.

I will advice u go ahead with ur visa application and let it be stated on your statement of purpose that u will return to Nigeria and u can also get a letter from ur where u serving too. Ur NYSC can serve u as a strong home tie

bro if u want to submit through d paper route u can still go ahead....... I know of people dat submit btw 10th - 31st sept 2012 and majority of dem got deir visa 3rd week of december. So choose wisely and success ur in quest
