SWISS SKILLS SHORTAGE INDEX Q4 2017 – Q3 2018 Zurich, 20 November 2018 – In 2018, a slight increase in the skills shortage was observed throughout Switzerland and across all occupational groups. This was confirmed by the Skills Shortage Index compiled by The Adecco Group Switzerland in collaboration with the Swiss Job Market Monitor from the University of Zurich. However, clear differences can be seen between different job groups. Whereas some are suffering from a skills shortage, other occupations have a surplus of available specialists.
