An Indian acid-attack victim whose face was severely
deformed and needed 17 surgeries following the attack has
finally married the love of her life. The life of 26-year-old Lalita Ben Bansi, took a turn for the worse in 2012, when her cousin threw acid at her over some minor argument and had to undergo a successful 17 surgeries to partially fix her face.

She happily got married to her 27-year-old husband, Ravi
Shankar, on Tuesday at the Thane court in Mumbai.

Nnamdi Kanu should be arrested for disobeying the bail conditions.

Nigeria is a republic and one of the features of republicanism is that there is a rule of law like in section 1 and everyone is equal before the law. Like in section 17 sub 2 sub section a.

Nnamdi Kanu is an impenitent man and must be arrested.

His council should file a suit against the bail conditions. You don't contravene it.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra , Nnamdi Kanu , has commended the Punch newspaper for its objectivity and fairness. Kanu stated this in a chat with our correspondent in his father’ s palace at
Afaraukwu in Umuahia, Abia state.

He said during his incarceration at the Kuje prisons he was reading virtually all Nigerian Newspapers and was impressed at the way Punch reported the activities of IPOB .“ Virtually all Nigerian dailies gave us beautiful coverage . Punch was fantastic . It did marvellously well in covering our activities. “ It demonstrated objectivity, truth and fairness in all its reports about us. I was impressed with Punch . The paper is great. ”


He said at the appropriate time he would thank the Nigerian media for the support they had given him and his group in their struggle. He maintained that he owed Biafra a fiduciary duty of protection and
defence because of what he described as his kindred affinity in the project . The IPOB leader described Afaraukwu , Imus his where his father is the traditional ruler , as being part of the headquarters of Biafra where the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu had the Ojukwu bunker . He said , “ Our leader , Ojukwu operated from here until the end of the Biafra
war. There is no way I will abandon my father ’s land which served Biafra at a time of need .

” Meanwhile, IPOB on Monday condemned the continued detention of its members in various prisons across the country .
It said Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu , David Nwawuisi, Bright Chimezie , George Onyeibe and other members were being held in prisons in Rivers , Delta, Anambra , Akwa Ibom and Abia states
as well as Abuja. In a statement made available to our
correspondent in Awka , Anambra state by its media and publicity secretary , Emma Powerful, the group
called for their immediate release . The statement read in part , “ The attorney General of the Federation
should have dropped all the concocted and fabricated charges preferred against our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and others remaining in prisons to save their image in the face of the international community .
“ It is very appalling that a well - trained judge like Binta Nyako who passed through so many seminars
before she was called as a Chief judge at the Federal High court can allow herself and the court to be used to bar Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from exercising his fundamental human rights . “ The continued detention of those mentioned above in different prisons and DSS secret cells across the country remained the weakness on the side of Judicial Service Commission andAttorney General of the Federation . ” http:/www.punchng.com/ipob-leader-kanu-hails-punch/

It shows their mindset. They can't survive on their own but are too ashamed to admit same.
They need someone to leech on to and exploit, colonise and tell you how industrious they are. period.

Delta and Edo were formerly under western nigeria yet we don't see Yorubas disturbing the Urhobos, Itsekiris, Isokos, Binis etc over Oduduwa affairs.
Eastern Nigeria is GONE!
There is nothing wrong with the name South South, IPOBs leave Ijaws, Urhobos, Ogonis, Efiks etc Alone.
I don't see these people begging to be included in IPOB movement rather it is IPOBs that are disturbing them.
I am proudly a South Easterner, I am okay with my geopolitical zone,
South South are just my neighbours.
Thats it.
South East is developing despite No federal presence,
You can't see me disturbing South Southners.
I respect peoples convinence and IPOBs are giving the SS minorities Inconvinences.
