I even thought u wanted to say we can use that plenty of such Eel finish to generate electricity in Nigeria. Na wetin me go like hear be that. No be all these stories webbro007: As I watched the National Geographic Channel I came to learn of the Fish called The Electric Eel for the first time, actual name is Electrophorus electricus. The fish is commonly found in the Amazon and generally in fresh waters. In the narration of the documentary, Electric Eels are mostly blind, although they are not born blind. To me they are such beautiful creatures and I was wondering how come they are blind? I then read about them and came to understand that these animals have three pairs of abdominal organs that produce electricity as a form of defensive mechanism against predators. Whenever the animal is under attack, it activates an electric field of up to 860 Volts (that is nearly 4 times the 220V electricity supplied to our homes) to electrocute its attacker. The Eel also requires rising to the surface of the water every 10 minutes in order to take in Oxygen before going back under the water. Due to this routine, the fish has developed a mindset that it is vulnerable to attack due to constant coming up to breathe and hence *it is always on a ‘suspicious mission’* – It is always and constantly electrocuting its environment, *even when it is not under attack*. The sad effect is that in the course of continuous electrocution of its environment, *Its eyes are also electrocuted and hence causes its blindness!* But then as I watched this animal swimming around blindly and only using its sense of feeling and hearing , and been unable to see, it goes into more suspicion and every movement it feels in the waters, it releases further electric shock worsening his plight. – The animal thus goes into a cyclic paranoia and self infliction of pain causing it to be more blind irreversibly. -When stranded and in dire need of assistance, its nature of continuous release of electric shocks, prevents helpers from getting to it. *You see such is the situation in some people’s life.* They suspect everybody and everything! They are always on a mindset of ‘someone is doing me’, ‘something evil is coming to happen to me’, ‘someone is planning to harm me’, etc. By having this kind of mental picture or mindset such people release shock waves that electrocutes whoever comes near them. *Friends who mean well, are branded enemies, Parents are considered evil,* *Siblings are suspected of hatching evil plots,*! *Work colleagues are branded enemies, Etc.* When people go into such *self-destructive mode*, All they think about is themselves and not the feelings of others. The desire to protect oneself ends up in hurting others. *Let us all strive to cultivate a positive attitude of love towards ourselves even when it isn't convenient. Pls let brotherly love continue. In other words, treat each other in a brotherly manner. *Think and reflect about these things. |

Politics › Re: SARAKI. NANS, Civil Society Plans Massive Protest by XYZo: 2:48pm On Jan 03, 2017 |
I love ur ass bae, won't mind licking this ass yummy kenonze: A coalition of civil society organisations under the aegis of Heritage Centre and the National Association of Nigerian Students have threatened to lead mass protests to foreign embassies in Abuja to protest alleged political vendetta against Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, but gave no date for it.
They were reacting to the order of Saraki’s arrest by Code of Conduct Tribunal over alleged falsification in his assets declaration.
The Director-General of HC, Dr. Katch Ononuju and NANS President, Tijani Usman, who issued the threat during a press briefing on Saturday evening in Abuja, said it was a witch-hunt against the Senate President by what he described as political ‘cabals,’ who should be put under checks by the Federal Government.
Ononuju said, “The President makes appointments and does not refer them to the Senate for confirmation because he does not like the leadership there. Our democracy is under threat and that is why we are talking to Nigerians. Since President Muhammadu Buhari took over, everything is going down. We are calling on the Chief Justice of Nigeria to protect the integrity of the courts by ensuring that injunctions are respected. We are to march to every embassy to tell them that our democracy is under threat.
“The President lacks the political will to fight corruption. We are very worried with the turn out of things. The action by the Senate to appoint its own leadership is the reason behind this witch-hunt. Accidents have been arranged for senators who supported Saraki.
“The DSS has been used to trail senators. The current CCB should not exist. The current leadership came into office in 2010 and their tenure ought to have elapsed in April 2015. The power that seeks to undermine our democracy and the Senate is gaining the upper hand. I sincerely want corruption to be fought headlong, but we do not want a return to the days of Olusegun Obasanjo, where arrests where targeted.”Saraki: Civil society groups, NANS plan protests in embassies -

Nairaland General › Re: Nigerian Kids Caught Live Snake (Video) by XYZo: 1:47pm On Jan 03, 2017 |
Good philosophy as helped u, good thinking Lordsocrates: it is staged...
how on earth would kids see snake and the first thought is to catch it ? when you see snake the first thought is stone.
the man: immediately someone shouts snake!!! will he not be the one to take over from there ?
how on earth do you say " don't hold it on the earth you will suffocate it, while you go on to say look at this children playing with poisonous snake ?' does it add up ?
to further show that it is staged he went on further to say leave the tail let it dangle.... to show it is alive, who was he planning to show it to ?
sumarry, the snake is a pet, considering the posh house and cars, its non poisonous, and the man thought he could pull a fast one on "non critical thinking folks" shaa he succeeded... shame some Nigerians still think Critically.. |

Thank God he made alliance with a fulani, that showed clearly that he isn't parochial and insular. He embraced another tribe who was competent enuf for d job So kudos to Jagaban ArabMopol: Buhari was in on the conspiracy to reduce the influence of his benefactor, Tinubu, an ordinary Yoruba... The Fulanis are not going to take another chance to allow power be controlled by anyone or group other than them or one of their own. Tinubu hid under the cover of the Jonathan tragedy to bring back to power an ethnic oligarchy that has held Nigeria hostage for over five decades. It is amazing that the high percentage of literate political leaders in Yoruba land who flaunt their degrees and bounce around with pride in Western education are uneducated in and about politics and history. They lack what is called native intelligence. The Fulani are a special breed. They understand only one thing – power at all costs. It does not matter how close you are to them. It does not matter how friendly you are to them. It does not matter how helpful you are to them. When it comes to power and control, they rally round themselves to neutralise you and maintain your subservience. The conscious efforts of Tinubu to cultivate the friendship of the Fulani ruling class for the purposes of wining political power within the Nigerian context will definitely end in disaster and this is just the beginning. |

And it's a pity u're oblivious of the fact that Tinubu has various investments, and an employer of labour sizeably ndcide: How come the anti corruption crusaders have not asked or told us how Tinubu gets the money to bankroll a political party.
Those who label the Jonathans as criminals can't tell us how in God's green earth Tinubu has that much funds. HOW!!!!!!
On the other hand is APC for sale? This story is silly as it's all about fighting Tinubu's battles with the media. So if Tinubu don't have his way, APC dies?
Those who are propagating this story, though they have their heads far gone into Tinubu's ass, they are dumb. |

None so blind as those who won't see Pavarottii: And u still want to borrow?
And later they said that they av achieved 79% of 2016 budget.
Please can someone mention a federal project that has been implemented in d south since May 29th, 2015.
All they av brought is propaganda, compromise of institutions(Nigeria military, dss, efcc, icpc, inec)unemployment, inflation, recession, pain, suffering, killing of institutions(NASS and Judiciary) and death.
Now there is a grand scheme to rig through the supreme court; that was whole idea behind the invasion of judges houses, to force them to step down by intimidating dem; and then rig the decision of Abia, Bayelsa, Edo, Cross river, Kogi at the apex court.(abi u think say the protest at abuja for alleged corrupt judges to step down; na clear eye??) And thereby turn Nigeria to a one party state.
Nigeria is sliding into a government of tyranny. Now we r buying fuel at 145, dollars is almost 500; they attacking the judiciary nobody is talking, that is the first stage of tyranny; the second stage; my brother u don't want to imagine it; but upcoming events will speak for itself.
Those supporting this govt and hoping to see the light at the end of the tunnel; am sorry to disappoint you, the light u r seeing is an incoming train.
A word is enough for the wise.
Pavarotti. |
