Blend and add whilst cooking your stews (minimal oil, palm oil beneficial), blend and soak in water, put in the fridge to chill and drink instead of coke or any other fizzy drinks. I could have arranged this training in Nigeria. And it would have definitely cost extremely less. Very much less. My view? This is not a judicious use of tax payers' money.

Every time I look at the people in this photograph, the more I believe they are mostly not Nigerians. Some have the Arab Spring look on their faces. I may be wrong but surely not Nigerians. At least with those brave enough to show their faces.

One would like to think that our Customs have an intelligence wing that snoops around for information. Looking at the awesome level of 'free information' on this customs thread, there are unlimited information including cell phone numbers and bank account details of these scammers to put them away.
But do we have this wing in the customs? These scammers are so indifferent to the fact that their identities are open secret. I spoke to one 'married female' by the name of Mrs ? Rosemary. She was so grossly annoyed with me because I witheld my number. Customs should wake up and do their job. Nairaland is providing all the hard evidence and information, why can't our customs simply fininsh the job?

The way English was bastadized here speaks volumes. Absolute trade mark of uneducated scammers.

Rang this guy up. He is a pure crook. No pleasantries. Don't go near him. Not even with a mile long pole. EFCC should be set on this guy.

I rang this 'Customs PRO' on 08037 395 807. He identified himself as Adeniyi Adewale. Very confident and even agreed that I check him out via Nigeria Customs. This is the web address http://www.nbfautos.com/listings.php?country=Lagos&region=Badagry

I think EFCC (am I correct?) should work on this man by playing along with him. He would be an easy prey to apprehend. Nigeria Customs should also start an online publicity by warning innocent people from getting sucked into this scam. I visited our Nigeria customs site. I did not find anything warning Nigerians except a link to report fraud. That is good but not enough.
Our customs MUST create a page where fraudulent web sites are placed for public awareness. I think Nairalanders are doing a good job at this. Inspire being the brain behind this exposure. Is there anyway of shutting down this website? Well done inspire.

Talking about imported car titles and prices, the best way to get a clear position would probably be through Inspired VIN check. How long does it take you to carry out this check please?
Are your VIN checks limited to vehicles imported from the USA only?
Is it permitted to drive with say US, Canadian or UK driving licences?
If yes, for how long?

1. Can someone from the Diaspora drive in Nigeria using a UK driving licence? If yes, for how long can one do this?
2. When vehicles are registered in Nigeria, does that number remain with that car for life? Would that means that whenever it is sold, that number is transferred?

Silvasurfer, what is your view on starting on a 'Make it Simple' model first? Assessing people in their homes and providing equipments and adaptations? Do you think well off Nigerians will buy into this idea?

Please, I need information on how to go about setting up a post stroke rehabilitation unit. From my research, our hospitals have capacity to provide stroke care after it occurs with a bit of in-house rehabilitation. It is the lack of community after care that I am interested. Is there a possibility of having a state government support with infrastructure?
Anyone with any idea of how many of such centers we have in Nigeria?
We have Social Workers and Occupational therapists to manage the post discharge care. We can link in with surgeries and state hospitals for medical referrals.
This will be a model based on the UK health care system but paid for service or referred by any sponsoring state. What are the hurdles? Will it be feasible? We hope to work from two angles namely:
1. Drop in based therapy
2. Admission based therapy
3. Home assessment visits and support service

Questions:
1. Do Nigerian Universities have Occupational Health/Physiotherapy courses and graduates?
2. Do our Nigerian Universities have Speech and Language Therapists?
3. Any idea of any post stroke therapy centre(s) in Nigeria?
4. Where can I get detailed information on stroke attack record in Nigeria?
I will highly appreciate any helpful information.
