amaechi1:Then, progressive Nigerian youth needs to install that into our DNA...... |
In Nigeria when politicians refused to resign, the very oppressed masses from that part of Nigeria that did not vote for PMB will admonish them to stay put. The Senate has hurriedly started amending laws that fight corruption instead of removing their corrupt leader. |
The Spain’s industry minister has resigned over allegations he had links to offshore companies by the panama papers. Jose Manuel Soria said he had tendered his resignation “in light of the succession of mistakes committed along the past few days, relating to my explanations over my business activities and considering the obvious harm that this situation is doing to the Spanish government.” Soria’s troubles began on Monday when Spanish online daily El Confidencial, which has had access to the Panama Papers where millions of files leaked from law firm Mossack Fonseca said he was an administrator of an offshore firm in 1992. Soria called a news conference to deny any link to the company, but as the week went by, more allegations emerged from other media outlets, revealing further alleged connections to offshore havens. It is unclear as yet whether any of his alleged actions were illegal. Iceland’s Prime Minister Sigmundur David Gunnlaugsson was also forced to resign over the leaks some weeks ago. The Senate president, Bukola Saraki, who is also facing charges bordering on false asset declaration at the Code of Conduct tribunal is also named having offshore assets in the Panama papers leak. http://www.nigerianbulletin.com/threads/spainish-minister-quits-over-panama-papers-leaks.202108/ |
There is no difference btw jimoh ibrahim and pat utomi...... Both good in theory professor class but in real practical aspect of what they preach, they are real failure...... |
Saraki wanted to amend CCT act, He contacted Peter Nwaoboshi......Delta North(PDP) to move the motion. He lured Ike Ekweremadu(PDP)to preside over the house. # Lessons If you want to do evil, use PDP. If you want to do dirty job, use South East and South South. Kwessions or Questions! Does it mean that nobody can do it for Saraki in APC? Does it mean that nobody from the North can sponsor such for Saraki? Yet, they claimed that dey get sense pass almajiri. ........... |
C. B. N need to as a matter urgency make a statement on how the usage is applicable.. Can access the Yuan from the local bank.. Is it possible to make online transactions etc.. So we need more information on this.. Femi Adesina Garba Shehu. |
With the currency swap deal signed yesterday, the Yuan is now free to flow among different banks in Nigeria and our business men and women can now access machineries , factory spare parts etc from China at a very affordable rate without bordering about dollar rates. In other words you can settle your trade deals with China in Yuan. It's a beautiful development. ~ Olusegun Mark. |

Nigeria's former President Goodluck Jonathan has ignored a meeting called by PDP National Chairman Ali Modu Sheriff, Punch reports. Several ex governors elected on the PDP platform attended the stakeholders meeting in Abuja heralded by Modu Sheriff at the party’s national headquarters. Goodluck Jonathan, his deputy, Namadi Sambo; and former governors Peter Odili (Rivers), Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom), Donald Duke (Cross River), Sullivan Chime (Enugu), Liyel Imoke (Cross River), and deputy governor Muktar Shagari of Sokoto State were also invited to the meeting, but were absent. www.nigerianbulletin.com/threads/goodluck-jonathan-snubs-meeting-with-pdp-chairman-modu-sheriff-punch.193292/ |
– Dangote explains challenges associated
to growth of Africa’s economy
– States how they create their own power
in every country they go
Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man,
has finally revealed the secret to his
unrivaled success on the continent.
Dangote, who recently dropped in the
world’s richest billionaire’s list, explained
further how the challenge of electricity was
adversely affecting the growth of the
continent’s economy, Daily Post reports.
The president of Dangote group, who was
speaking at the Africa CEO forum in Abidjan,
informed that, “Where I come from, which is
Kano in Nigeria, we have over 20 million
people and we are sharing 35 megawatts
only.
“So when we started business as a group,
we said that we would not go into the
national grid. Every single country that we
are operating in, we would create, generate
our own power and that is why we have
been very, very successful.”
Speaking also during the event, president of
the African Development Bank (AfDB),
Akinwumi Adesina, stated that Africa must
seek ways to light up the continent.
He said: “If you walk in the dark, you’ll
stumble and you will fall. But if you walk in
the light, you will constantly see thing ahead
of you.
“The problem is, in Africa, you have today
645 million people without electricity. You
have the GDP in which the cost of not having
electricity is about four to five percent
shaved off.
“We cannot be competitive when it comes
to value adding. We cannot industrialise
because we have no electricity. The kids
cannot go to school because we have no
electricity.
“Vaccines can’t be in hospitals because we
have no electricity, and business are
operating at very high cost, using diesel. In
other words, what is the emergency power
supply system has become the normal
power supply system – no way!
“And as Africa Development Bank, I know
that the very blood of Africa’s transmission
and life is what we do.” |
DSS are Rascals; Fayose storms Aso Villa, clashes With Buhari and Promise to Teach Him a Lesson The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari to eschew any plan of declaring a state of emergency in Ekiti and Rivers states. Governor Fayose stated this on Monday, March 21, while speaking with State House Correspondents, in Aso Rock, shortly after taking part in the economic retreat organized by the National Economic Council, NEC, at the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa. He maintained that his government is aware that President Buhari was planning a state of emergency in Rivers State over the bloody election rerun that took place over the weekend. Recall that the All Progressives Congress, APC, had requested that President Buhari declares a state of emergency in Rivers State, in order to forestall political violence and the breakdown of law and order in the state. “It is obvious that Governor Wike has lost control of the state. As the chief security officer of the state, his primary duty is to secure lives of the people in the state but he has failed to do this. The crisis in Rivers State could have ended if not for the unwillingness of “powerful people” in government in the state, “APC had said. Speaking further, Fayose said if he went ahead with the plan, Buhari would be thought a lesson that power belongs to the people and not their leaders. “They have been insinuating that (state of emergency) too in Ekiti. We have been waiting for them. Power has gone beyond the leaders; power has gone back to the people. http://www.africanews247.com/fayose-storms-aso-villa-clashes-buhari/ |
Another marketing strategy...... Naija i hail thee! |
Ahh! Last time a senior advocate of Nigeria
(SAN) Rickey Tarfa went to court with 90
SAN/lawyers.
Today a senate president Bukola Saraki
went to court with 80 Lawyers.
Who knows how many lawyers former EFCC
chairman Lamurde will hired when facing a
court.
Anyway, He who is guilty is the one who has
much to say.
All i wish and for, is a better Nigeria. |
Nigerian lawyers making mockery of the law

whoever thinks women do not keep secrets,
had not watched "the desperate house
wives" women gossip on irrelevants and
keep their matrimonial and serious issues to
heart. when a woman tells you she hits her
head against the door, she must have been
beaten by her man. bravo to women jooor. |
My friend, Bola Imam, said there are three ways of communicating: * Telephone * Television and, * Tell-a-woman He believes secrets are generally not safe with women. I disagreed sharply with him. Men are generally the kiss-and-tell type. When they huddle together at joints, they are discussing things which are better kept secret between them and their wives. If u see two women engaged in small talk, they aren't discussing their family secrets, maybe hair, nail polish, shoes, bags and cloths, but not deep family secrets. That's my view. So, folks, let's take our minds off our 'akuwarapa' economy and 'abiku' politics to focus on ourselves. You are either a man or a woman. So, there is that clear demarcation. TGIF! Happy weekend everyone! |
I like this. You must be licensed to preach..... |
EL-RUFAI NEW LAWS
* In Kaduna you cannot preach without
license
* Every preacher will have to go and get
ONLY one year license (renewable every
year). That is, you must always preach
without an expired license or you risk 2
years imprisonment.
* If you invite any external preacher (i.e.
preacher outside kaduna state), such a
person must be licensed for the duration of
his/her stay and the body issuing the
license has the right to reject external
preacher they feel is not qualify to preach in
Kaduna state.
* Every preacher who want to be licensed
will appear before a screening committee. If
he/she scales through, he/she will only be
given licensed for one year.
* The law criminalizes the use of CDS, Flash
Drive and other communication gadgets
except in religious building or inside your
house.
* That means, you will be arrested for
listening to preaching or religious music
inside your cars or in any open place except
in your house or religious building.
* If you preach without license, you are
guilty of offense punishable with 2 years
imprisonment or a fine of 200,000.
You can’t use microphone in your church
after 8pm you are guilty of offense
punishable with 2 years’ imprisonment or a
fine of 200,000.
* Since all preaching must be done within a
building, it means public evangelism will be
criminalized. Those who preach early
morning, known by some as morning cry
and preaching inside bus if arrested will be
fined N200,000.
* This could also means, people will not be
allowed to go out for evangelism on streets
or move with vehicles with address systems
to advertise their programs. |
One day, we all will get tired of them and
their two heads will only mean that many
heads will roll. |
Aliko Dangote has two heads. Forget it. He had the road paved for him by petechial government policies aimed at fostering his monopolies in the sale of rice, sugar and cement. If u are lucky or connected enough to get waivers on imported goods for just 3 months, u'll see how your billions will roll in. Peter Odili has two heads. After 8 yrs as governor of one of the richest states, he understandably had questions to answer at the EFCC. What did he do? He went to court and the courts gave him an order restraining the EFCC from investigating him not to talk of arresting him. Our monarchs have two heads. They receive pay from government coffers and are never taxed. Now we are hearing that many palaces of their royal highnesses have become the abode of paedophiles who forcefully take away nubile minors and turn them to baby factories. All those mentioned in connection with Halliburton have two heads. After their American accomplices have been jailed in Uncle Sam's country, those at the Nigerian end are still walking freely and threatening us with their ill-gotten money. Governors like Sen Isiaq Ajimobi of Oyo have two heads. Four years going on five now, we've not had a Local Government election. The LG Law of Oyo State is not worth more than the paper it is printed upon. LG Allocations which ought to be appropriated by elected Councillors are now spent with the authority of circulars signed by a man or woman not known to law. Our Senate President has two heads. At a time many of his countrymen are unable to transport themselves due to liquidity squeeze and those with cars cannot run them because of cost and scarcity of fuel, he has splashed about N300m on fancy automobiles to sate his ego. So, when next u see the musician Olamide, tell him Dangote, Otedola, Adenugba, OBJ, IBB etc have two heads. God did not create anybody with two heads but our men of power have acquired extra ones for themselves. Nigeria is distinctly a nation of inequalities. To remedy that, we need leaders who will help us relieve our powerful men of their extra heads. The Orwellian system of one animal being more equal than others does not augur well for our progress. May God have mercy on the Federal Republic of Nigeria. |
