It's a good buy especially considering the processor. Zui is not bad as you think it's not even bad. I think people don't like it when compared to other Android skins because it lacks some of their favorite features. I haven't used a Lenovo though since after the days of the K3 note.

How abt Lenovo not sending OTA updates!?
Its a major reason am avoiding them. Or have they changed? I intend to keep any phone I buy now for yearsss

Unless the A30 is now better than the A50, I had the A50 for over 24 hours last week and updated to the latest version, also compared with the Redmi note 7 and the Mi 8 lite stock camera. Naxo my guy dey think say na d A50 dey better until I transfer all pics and viewed on same device. Don't be confused by the saturation of Amoled displays bro, jejely enjoy your device and don't compare it with the note 7. The only pro it has over the note 7 is the Amoled display and a dedicated sim slot.

U didn't add that amoled screen can cost an arm � and a leg �... When u use a phone wit amoled, u must fast daily

Band 28 support
SD Card support is back(Shared) missing on the A2
3.5mm headphone Jack is back Missing on the A2
Bigger battery 4030mah compared to the 3000mah on the A2.


Cons:
Downgraded screen resolution on HD+ As against FHD on the A2. Some people will say it's good for the battery.
A little pricy to the A2.
SD 665 is a little upgrade over the SD 660

Xiaomi Mi A3 and A3 Lite may get upgraded chipsets - Snapdragon 730 and 675

Xiaomi’s upcoming Android One phones will be based on its new CC9 series with some modifications. The Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite are reportedly getting upgraded chipsets compared to their MIUI-running relatives.

The Mi A3 is set to get the Snapdragon 730. Compared to the S710 inside the CC9, this chip uses newer big cores (Cortex-A76 based Kryo 470, up from A75-based Kryo 360). Also, the new Adreno 618 promises a 25% boost over the old one.

The chipset is built on Samsung’s 8nm LPP process, which improves power efficiency (the S710 is a 10nm chip).


Snapdragon 730 and 675 performance on AnTuTu
The Mi A3 Lite is getting the Snapdragon 675, up from S665 on the CC9e. This is an even bigger upgrade, going from A73-based Kryo 260 cores to A76-derived Kryo 460 cores. It’s still an 11nm part, but AnTuTu shows notable performance gains.

The Lite model may get another upgrade – changing the screen panel from 720p+ to 1080p+. The Mi A2 Lite has a 1080p screen, so a successor with 720p resolution would have been hard to explain (it’s easier for the CC9e as it’s part of a new series). This hasn’t been confirmed yet, however.

Both Xiaomi Mi A3 phones will be keeping the triple cameras with 48MP main sensor of the CC9 phones.
