Car Talk › Re: Nigerian Army Visits Innoson Manufacturing Plant At Nnewi Anambra (Pics) by Yanks101: 4:57pm On Jan 22, 2016 |
obailala: Gbam!... This government needs to lead by example in the indigenisation policy. We cannot be buying toyota and BMWs when we have local manufacturers.
Meanwhile, while some are cursing, swearing and lamenting their inability to import, others smart guys are busy expanding their production capacity. However bad a situation is, there's always someone it favours. It dosen't mean he would vote for buhari in 2019. He knows where his bread is buttered. |

Igbos must feel flattered by this attention from the self-acclaimed sophisticates. A nation of over 200 ethnics and 170 million people and the igbo ethnic matters are the most discussed to the extent of creating numerous fraudulent articles. Indeed tuface must have had a whiff of inspiration- If people don't talk about you, then you are nobody. |

Senator leahy must be having a laugh after being vindicated. Savage Nigerian state does not deserve a single unit of America's high-tech weapons because the Nigerian citizens themselves would bear the devastating brunt of it. |

Lol this is not a very good post. Castigate education? Nowhere did i castigate education. What i spoke against was an educational policy that is not targeted towards STEM courses or specialities. Debating skills or whatever is not what anambra or even the african continent needs. |

Of what use is this? Debates, good and noble as they are, is not a priority or a educational necessity with respect to the societal and developmental need of the eastern region today. Too much talk and very little technical output is one of the problems of the african continent. Anambra and the entire eastern region need to focus on STEM courses and technical aptitude to propel the region to home-grown industrialization even in the midst of surrounding backwardness in a potentially failed nation state. It is possible. |

Why was your village not chosen to be the capital? Calabar and lokoja too were capitals
And FYI lagos has ceased to be Nigeria's capital for almost the past 25yrs. Yet everyone would rather leave there.
You too make your own villa the commercial capital. I am sure the most importnat people in your village either do business in Lagos or have something to do with lagos Sorry, my mistake for thinking you've had a rare moment of sanity. It won't happen again. Btw,Your rebuttal is bullshit and elementary, but then refuting it would be a waste of time. One thing you should know and remember though is that your country would remain the poverty-striken back-water habitat it currently is, with lagos posing as a pseudo-megacity, not even in the class of its african peers. I sure that is all that matters afterall, a one-eyed king in the midst of the blind who is not meant to be king in the first place. |

Some people and lies can't be separated.
Mynd44, delete this lie of a post.
You claimed the pictures were taken at a wedding but no proof of such can be ascertained from this pictures. If this was a wedding ceremony, why the child is not with her groom?
I wouldn't be surprised if some people believe this lie. You are talking as if child marriage is a new or unheard concept in the North. This is not about buhari that should elicit the usual irrational defence from you. |

The problem is lack of will, imagine then buying an aircraft that must be service before and that even claim lives.
Next is to start misappropriation of defense fund, and some people say these people should left to live freely. have they considered over 30,000 dead victim, tens of thousands dead security personnel, million displaced?

bakynes: I just pity some people in this country especially these PDP goons who just hate Buhari for no just cause. Some of you haven't travelled to developed countries before and see that Nigeria looks like an 18th century country. I agree with the OP a country like Nigeria needs a God-fearing dictator like Buhari. The Western type of Democracy cannot work for the black Man because of the greed and wickedness we carry. Most of these Arab country don't practice the Western type of Democracy. As much as the west hate Ghaddafi as a dictator, he put things in place in Libya. Cause I don't see how these democracy that is not about the people but people in govt will work. In Dubai, Saudi Arabia they don't practise Democracy but the system works for the good of the people just that the freedom of speech is limited. I will take that over a system that doesn't work where people cannot feed well, cannot have access to good health care with Freedom of Speech. I prefer to live well with limited freedom of speech than freedom of speech with an empty stomach. But buhari wil only be there for eight years at most. Let me assume for the sake or agument that buhari is a good dictator, what now happens when we have a bad dictator after buhari? There is already a precedence for dictatorship. Saudi arabia is a monarchy governed by islamic laws. The system is already set in stone. You can't compare that to Nigeria. |
