The fact that he systematically removed some igboid niger-delta from his nonsense shows they are beginning to learn. Any useless NDR must not contain igbo SS groups in rivers and delta state including the IKA. Such madness would be firmly resisted and defeated by the igbo nation. As long as that is understood and complied with, then you can go ahead and create your ijaw dominated NDR. |

nobeku: NOI is a BIG LEARNER compared to Enemelah.. It goes to show you don't even understand how to grade these technocratic bigwigs... lol. You are joking right? Enemelah biggest achievement was working for goldmann sachs, one of the many private financial institutions in the world, a major one none the less. Okonjo iweala was one of the directors of the world bank for a very long time and almost became the sole head but for american geo-politics. I am sure you can't comapre the world bank to goldmann sacchs. Enemelah would be honoured to attain okonjo achievements. |

Flyoruboy: You lying morafvcker. Oya wey your proof that he has ever acknowledged or admitted being Igbo? Me I get prove to show that he actually denied it when the rumours were rife. Even if he is, I repeat that he dare not come out and admit it publicly as doing so would mean the end of his political career. Iigbo is a constitutionally recognized language in gabon. He may not claim to be one of the lost biafrans for political reasons, dosen't mean he denies being igbo. Not all igbos in gabon are descendants of biafran refugees. |

Flyoruboy: The President himself can't dare to come out and publicly claim that he's Igbo or that he's indeed the one in the pix coz that'll be tantamount to Political suicide for him in Gabon. And so the Igbo-denial continues. Igbo is constitutionally recognized in gabon, bloody yoruba dimwit. The president has never denied being igbo. |

It is an interesting concept. The batteries though are too small for that purpose. I am sure a company in Nigeria can create something like this, more refined but with specially designed rechargable batteries. It would change the landscape of energy utilization in Nigeria significantly. |

California has a GDP of $2.3trillion with a small population of 38.8 million. Nigeria has an inflated GDP of $500billion with a population of 170 million. The distance is just so wide. Even if Nigeria has the best president on earth, given the disparity in resource, there is no way Nigeria would have the same standard of living as california. |

butanep: The president, CBN Governor and others advising the president are all clueless. They don't have the intellect to drive the economy forward. They make policy that draw the economy backward. Nothing is just working since the government came to power.
I keep my fingers crossed. I think we should reduce the anti-buhari rants on this thread as much as i hate to. Nigeria earns relatively very little for her enormous population. The best president on earth can do very little given the resource. We need to tackle something much deeper than corruption and a bad president. Nigeria is just not earning enough to make a significant difference. |

bushdoc9919: True federalism would only work if you Nigerians are ready to work for your money, and not be oil dependent.
And anyway, you Nigerians are not ready for it. When you blame GEJ for not providing water for his people in Otueoke, and Buhari for not building five star hotel in Daura....when that should be the job for the local government chair.
Sorry....but until you Nigerians realise that Abuja cannot solve your problems...and that you must get your local eladers to sort out local problems.....true federalism is just code for....how we share the kudi! True federalism will force the states to work. When states like nassarawa see how wealthy Rivers or bayelsa has become by controlling over 70% of her oil revenues, she would be forced to find mining investors for her bauxite, gold e.t.c. so that nassarawa can be as wealthy if not more wealthy. Unfortunately , the leaders are just lazy. They are afraid of taking that step due to certain illogical uncertainties. The greatest obstacle to true federalism implementation in Nigeria is backward ethnic politics. |
Politics › Re: Nigerian Economy Records ‘Worst Week’ Since 2008 - The Cable by Yanks101: 4:39pm On Oct 31, 2015 |
The most drastical step to take is true federalism. Yes, it would hurt the FG and most states in the short term, but that is the only way of rescue. I had a bit of hope for Nigeria due to the Confab resolutions, but our northerners have disposed that report. Leave the oil for the niger-delta, and let the other states no longer waiting for free oil money explore their human and natural resources and maximize them. That way Nigeria would gradually begin to enter a level of high productivity leading to great national wealth. Nigeria is wasting too much wealth, potential and time. The FG cannot maximize the enormous natural and human resources on its own. |

Fashola is the minister for interior or water resources at best. Nobody is giving him works or power. Buhari already said he appoints those he can trust in sensitive positions and those people have being mainly of northern extract. The north is not going to allow some southern upstart get the minister for works. BH has ravaged the north infrastructurally and so the north need the minister for works in their pocket. |

Adeosun is a light weight. The screening exposed her shallow depth. Replacing Ngozi with adeosun would be an absolute downgrade that it would not even be funny. Enemelah is the closest to NOI in this govt, even then he is still not in her level. |

Enahi: That's why we are asking you to go back to the East or have a passport for identification, you cant add any part of the Niger Delta to Biafra because ita not your land. If not that the Biafrans lack common sense, y'all should have thought about the different ethnic groups. But because of greed and self centeredness' y'all want to come and take over Niger Delta with your population.
If the Aniomas want to join Biafra that's fine but make sure no territory in Niger Delta is carved into Biafra. You wont be able to withstand what will befall you all. I asked you before but you ran away. Who owns those land they will leave behind if anioma theoretically decides to go to the east? What is niger-delta? Btw, who in the niger-delta do you believe is a match for the igbo ethnic group? You are threatening something bigger than you. You want to hit a big hand with your small hand. lol. In the event of a land dispute with the east, the SS stands no chance whatsoever. |

And what relationship does my anioma people have with the rest of you? Better face your niger delta republic of non-igbo ethnics. As long as it remains that, then you are free to have your NDR. |
