APC will divide this country and by GOD, i hope it will be soon. The efforts of the PDP to create an undivisible Nigeria albeit faulty will all be undone by these APC megalomaniancs. I wish them God's speed. |
omenka:You are very stupidd. The zik of africa who founded your useless Nigeria, confronted the brits became your first president just like washington and created some of africa's best philosophical thoughts in gpvernance is now compared with tribal APC politicians lke tinibu? Bloody sycophantic nitwit. Apc tout. |
Decapo:You think you are being jestful. What you are doing is creating a biafran consciousness in igbos , which i know is the last thing you want to do. You are doing Nnamdi kanu's work for him. ![]() |

wow |
This is the same this day newspapers that some yoruba APC dimwits said was anti-buhari and pro-igbo. Thisday would soon release a scathing anti-buhari article and then we would all watch these APC dimwits pour baseless accusations on them. |
princessdairies:According to your pea sized head. |
wiseoneking:Don't mind them . Though vanguard can release rubbish articles like this one, i would still take their authenticity and reliability over backward oluwole yoruba newspapers like the nation, sahara reporters and the ridiculous osun defender. |
wiseoneking:In your dreams. You think the north takes APC politics above regional interests? |
theV0ice:Vanguard is not a pro-GEJ paper. They have produced some of the most scathing articles against GEJ during his administration. OBJ said GEJ was training snipers against his enemies. Where are those snipers today? Why haven't OBJ unravelled them via his closeness to the buhari administration? And this was the same OBJ that was planning an unconstitutional third term. A stark anti-national interest if there ever was one. |
ThisMeansWars:Are you blind? Can't you see how rubbish the north is? Are you not seeing the level of poverty and deprivation in the north? What of the over 10 million almajiris with no possible future. Poilitics in Nigeria is not for the best. That is why this country is a shitthole. The regional bloc with the highest number of states, and the highest number of child voters wins. That is the sad truth. |
QuotaSystem:Ofcourse, i know this. Unfortunately i don't see how this changes my point. You only end up proving igbo penchant for meritocrity. The so-called local politics of the north is built on an over-bloated parasitic state system and national assembly representation. Child voters are now the main stay of political power. Talk of true federalism and national restructuring and the north goes on the defensive. |
theV0ice:Sorry, i don't take ramblings of a bitter old man serious. The same '' weak'' GEJ has replaced him as the icon of democracy and governace in africa. |
ThisMeansWars:The founding father of Nigeria was Nnamdi azikiwe. He was the most influential in getting independence and creating a Nigerian nation. When the north wanted the British to continue, it was Nnamdi azikiwe that discouraged them. In the first republic of the 60s, where there was a bit of merit, Nigerian politics were dominated of sorts by igbo politicians. It was the civil war that changed things and the igbos had to begin afresh relinguishing political power to the SW. The current politicians of especially northern heritage are definitely not that good. We can see how much they have destroyed Nigeria. They can't even adequately educate their own people. |
QuotaSystem:If you believe you have better politicians and technocrats than the SE, then you are seriously deluded. Give me three northerners in american or UK politics. More like finding a needle in a hay stack. Can you compare the standard of living with the north and the SE? What of the MDGs actualization? |
ddippset:That is the sum total of your existence. |
theV0ice:When was stella oduah regarded as an alternate president? It was jonathan that fired her afterall. I am not belittling anything. It is an important portfolio but let us not take it too far. You are doing amaechi a disservice if you give him undue responsibilities. As a minister of transport,he is mandated to renovate airports, build new ones where necessary, and then manage the NPA and its revenue generations, and also aviation revenues. That is basically all. The more important duty of roads and rail construction falls under fashola's ministry of works. |
A sport like archery is specially fitted to the north and is played at the commonwealth and olympics. I am surprised that the NSC has not taken it serious. |
ThisMeansWars:My friend, stop deceiving yourself. Even the most ardent fulani would tell you Nigeria's best footabllers are in the east, just like Nigeria's best table tennis players are from the west and the best polo players are from the north. When it comes to team sports, then the east is where you should go for talents. That is the truth. Ofcourse, there are probably be some very talented northern footballers, but the overwhelming talent comes from the east, so it is not surprising if there are no northerners in the team. If Nigeria had a polo team, ofcourse, i would expect it to be dominated by northerners. I wouldn't raise too much objection, if all the players were from the north even though we may some have some talented polo players in the east. |
ThisMeansWars:It seems you don't know the difference between marginalization and merit. The igbo footballers got there on merit. If northern footballers are better, nobody would have any problem with them dominating. I am sure you can't say the same for our politics where undeserving people dominate. You can't tell me that fulani/northern domination of our politics is on merit. That would make your thread even more ridiculous. |
theV0ice:My friend, Nigerian journalists are arm chair journalists. Btw, amaechi is not the first minister of transport we are going to have. Nobody call them super-ministers in the past because they are not. It is an important portfolio alright, but nothing super about it. Infact right now, the super ministry is the ministry of trades and investment and then fashola's 3-in-1 portfolio. It baffles me that no one is talking about it. Nigeria right now is in dire need of some solid investments and cash inflows. It is the ministry of trades and investments that would see it happen. I think vanguard is trying to put the pressure on amaechi. |
Ballmer:Get their ass wiped by who? |
Amaechi a super minister? If amaechi is a super minister, then what is the minister of trades and investment that is probably Nigeria's most important appointment at this point in time.? Heaping coals of fire on amaechi's head, innit? ![]() |
You would never Ngenenkwenu on threads like this. Serious threads that require reasoning. Open a buhari praise singing thread and he/she would jump in immediately and take over. |
Nigerians are very stupidd or are these online warriors bring paid by the APC? |
asha80:I haven't seen him in any list. That is the one of the most important portfolios and nobody is talking about it. No single thread about it on the frontpage. BTW, If that is the case, i hope he knows what he is doing. I wouldn't advise him to leave his job for the Nigerian ministerial appointment. Not everybody would be as lucky as NOI. |
imiski:It was a smart move on buhari's part. I expected him to give amaechi minister for niger-delta like the vengeful man buhari is. Wike would so batter him in niger-delta politics. Smart move by buhari keeping amaechi away from the niger-delta. I must have over-estimated his capacity for stupiditty. |
Kemi that shallow greenhorn is the minister of finance? ![]() Enemelah is absent. Very good. Just stay away from this govt before they ruin your hard built reputation. |
sammyj:And yet they are giving your president a bloody nose at the national assembly. |
They are rookies in third world politics of shameless and immoral compromise, selfishness, and tribal herdsmentality. |
