For the past 24hrs and still counting, the social media has been all about Atiku this Atiku that, thereby relegated Buhari Poland visit to the corner .

Nigeria's election is all about popularity and Atiku media team are doing a good job in using the social media as a strong tool in making Alhaji Atiku Abubakar , the Presidential candidate of the peoples democratic party (PDP) more popular and gaining more sympathy than before .

So many Nigerians who never knew Atiku Abubakar now knows him and they've strongly Atikulated.. Atleast from what we've been seeing on Nairaland, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

These social media played an important role In Buhari 2015 election victory and Obviously would do the same for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar

The 2019 Presidential Election is about maintaining the stability of Nigeria, keep the nation on the part of progress and doing more to take Nigeria to greater heights that will benefit us all.

While President Buhari is asking for a 2nd term to do more on these and others, Atiku is insisting he can do better. But instead of Atiku to outline his plans to Nigerians, he and his supporters has been on their kneels begging for One-on-One debate with Buhari as if their lives depends on it.

We were told Atiku is an economic powerhouse, he went to Dubai to consult his associates - at the end of the day, the focal point of Atiku's entire Economic Policy was simply how to sell NNPC and other national assets within 6 months to his cronies.

Saraki, who is also his campaign manager has told the whole world that Atiku has assured him he will grant him slots and positions he can insert his boys to replenish whatever he will spend on his election since Buhari is not playing ball.

President Buhari is working hard on these to ensure that Nigerians have a better living standard, building of Infrastructures, workers welfare, social investments that is getting Nigerians involved in the efforts to revamp the economy, saving up to boost our economic standing at home and globally, diversification of the economy.

So Atiku, the PDP and their supporters should promote their Aliexpress and OLX Policy to Nigerians (who now see through him) and stop being seekers of bad news and begging for Debate like their life depends on it.

Nigerians who got us into the mess. We know those that squandered resources even in the mist boom. We know those that auction assets even in the twilight of their exit. Those that destroyed Nigeria will not be allowed to return to loot again.

A onetime Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Timi Frank, on Friday lambasted the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed for cautioning the United States, US, against granting visa to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.


Rubbishing the remark by Mohammed, Frank said Nigerians will “joyfully elect Abubakar in the forthcoming elections and not Americans.”

In a statement he forwarded to DAILY POST, the former APC spokesperson reminded the Minister that the American government does not believe in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari which has since been described as “lifeless” by President Donald Trump.


Frank stated that the Waziri of Adamawa has “become a nightmare and a sleepless tablet for the government of APC,” hence the “total loss of common senses by some of its officials.”

Frank warned Mohammed and other “APC’s apologists against heart attack when they later see Atiku Abubakar, being received on a red carpet very soon in the United States of America.”

While challenging APC government to provide just one evidence of corruption perpetrated by Atiku Abubakar, Frank said the same failed government that said the Waziri Adamawa could not visit America was already “jittery now that Atiku is poised to prove them wrong.”


According to Frank, it was easier for the Minister to, “bring APC to power with lies and propaganda against President Goodluck Jonathan but it is now impossible to sustain the lies because of their obvious failures.”

The statement reads, “Why is Lai Mohammed speaking from both sides of the mouth? The Minister is about to lose his job that’s why he is talking like someone under the influence of codeine or tramadol. The simple advice for Mr. Mohammed’s close allies is to get him tested for probably the negative effects of banned substances.

“At this stage, it is too late to stop America from granting Atiku entry Visa because the country has confirmed that it has nothing against the Presidential candidate of the PDP.

“Instead of this clueless government to seek for help from the American government in fighting the resurgent Boko Haram and fully liberate the people of the North-east from the hands of insurgents, what is more important to Lai Mohammad and the APC’s government is the issuance of U.S. Visa to Atiku.

“The American government will not fall for propaganda from a lifeless government like that of APC and President Muhammadu Buhari in granting Visa to anybody because it is a place where rule of law is strictly adhered to.

“Unlike a lawless APC government that attempts to disallow rain from dropping on the rooftops of political opponents, the America government is built on trust, fairness, justice and the fear of God,” Frank replied Mohammed.

Nigeria is a Sovereign Nation in case APC does not realise this.

Asking a Nigerian Presidential candidate to travel to US to prove his innocence is quite frankly subservient, timid, primitive and embarrassing. People who call themselves elites of Nigeria should not be making thoughtless comments like this

we have laws, we have courts, we have police, we have the Judiciary and we have EFCC who should be able to deal with defaulting citizens. If APC has a case of corruption against Atiku why have they not arrested him or charged him to court all this while?


Nigeria is also a signatory to extradition laws. IF USA have a case against Atiku they can request his extradition


So lets show our country some respect and it is a dis-service for elites of this country to continue to make statements like a Presidential candidate should go to US to prove their innocence.


when people make this kind of statement they are saying Atiku is bigger than Nigeria and the Nigerian Justice system. They are saying we are a failed state because this statement means that we have lost the capacity to dish out justice to defaulting citizens!
