In the ensuing days INEC and some politicians will find out that power belongs to the people, not to INEC. The people gave their power to INEC as an independent body to do a clean job, but it is obvious that INEC is compromised, as we have read and seen cases of polling officials coming to the polling unit without ink, machines, etc. Some didn't even turn up at all. There are also videos of vote numbers being inked out and inflated to favour those with money .

These politicians should have bowed out peacefully, but now they will be violently cut off. The people will take their mandate and it won't be funny. INEC can avert this by doing their best to correct the errors and reschedule voting in areas marred by violence caused by thugs belonging to politicians with money.

It is a calm plea now, as it should be. The anger seen on the faces of people shouldn't be allowed to boil over. However, I know Nigeria. I also know INEC. They will go ahead and declare their favorite candidate the winner because, like the proverbial piper, he dictates the tune. INEC better be wise. Big names will be affected in what ensues.

In any case, the will of the people will prevail whether INEC wants it or not. The will of the people will prevail. A thousand INECS cannot stop it. A million thugs canot stop it. A billion bullion vans cannot stop it.

Nigerians patiently wait as the results come in.

Imagine claiming that LP did not get a single vote in a LG. Anyway, I think this is urchin propaganda because it means that in the state capital of a northern state that there is no Southerner, no Christian and no Igbo.
