The election was actually Fayose vs Fayemi as a lot of us not living in Ekiti can't even recognise Eleka if seen outside. Fayose shot himself in the leg picking such a quiet and obviously a man who can't stand for himself. Anyways, that's exactly what he wanted so he'd keep controlling the state like Saraki is doing in Kwara.

He has no respect for any institution .. he tore the robes of judges and beat up some of them in order to prevent the courts from sitting , while a governor was using state resources to produce Rice in Kebbi he was contented frying garri with elderly people in the village and that is his idea of grassroot connection . He just reduced the state to his own level of education. He was just bereft of lofty ideas not commensurate with the cerebral nature of Ekitis.

Well this not my business that is their cup of tea. But the greater mistake saraki will do is to move to PDP. This will mark saraki reign in kwara state.

Saraki will actually still win if he joins any party but it makes no sense for him to leave APC now as PDP is dead nationwide.
