One of the great youth-empowerment initiatives of the Federal Government in recent-times is the N-Power Project, which aims at engaging the youth (aged 18-35) meaningfully, and with a Thirty Thousand (30,000) Naira monthly allowance, paid to participants for a period of two (2) years. So, we take a (hopefully) short trip to an Internet Café, spend a little cash for the Online Registration, and wait patiently, hoping we’ll be among the lucky shortlisted candidates. Now, let’s assume the best happens (you’re shortlisted), and as a very thrifty Nigerian Youth, you decide to live on 10,000 Naira (or less) on a monthly-basis, from the monthly stipend paid. That would amount to a saving of approximately 480,000 Naira, within the 2-year period – awesome! But wait… What if you could make the same amount – that is, 480,000 Naira, every quarter (3 months; instead of once, within a space of 2 years), with as little investment as 3,000 Naira or even less, whether you’re below 18 or above 35? Sounds cool? That’s what OEM-POWER stands for. To enable you get started faster, we’re giving-away free, lifetime Open e-Mark Partnerships, with your account pre-loaded with 100, 000 Naira worth of e-Mark code Credits, for a very short time. Join the race here: https://openemarkgiveaway.kickoffpages.com/ Clock's Already Ticking In the year 2015, UNESCO, UNHCR, and other World Bodies convened for the World Education Forum (WEF), in Incheon, Republic of Korea. The forum gave rise to the “VISION-2030” for Education and A “Framework for Action” (which was signed on the 26th November, 2016), geared toward bringing the vision to fruition. Two critical goals outlined in the Framework are stated below: 1. To provide quality education, by fostering the use of Open and affordable ICTs and educational resources in institutions of learning. 2. To increase the number of youth and adults who have opportunities for employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship. On the above premises, Open e-Mark EIMS, and hence, the OEM-POWER Project was born. Open e-Mark EIMS is a unique, free-to-use and freely-supported Education Information Management System, designed (and built from scratch in Nigeria) to make schools smart, and turn ordinary people into millionaires, in support of UNESCO’s Vision-2030.

BEAUTIFUL SINGLES: YOUR BEAUTY: A BLESSING OR YOUR DOOM? ...Every woman wants her beauty to be acknowledged. She wants her beauty appreciated. Hence, she tries to look her best, behave her best, and talk her best: and that’s okay, because beauty makes us feel good, confident, and excited about ourselves and life in general. But beauty can also make the heart haughty. It can lift the heart high. It is like a disease that spreads across the entire body; slowly, but surely. It happened to the very high-ranking angel (Lucifer) who once stood in the presence of God; it can happen to anyone who is undiscerning. Satan’s high-mindedness was not in him from the first day he was brought into existence. No. It was a slow, but steady build up. God said concerning him: Thou wast perfect in all thy ways ... until iniquity was found in thee - Ezekiel 28:15 In the same vein, beauty-inspired high-mindedness in ladies doesn’t just spring up overnight. It begins to build up after a series of hangouts with the other ladies. Many times, I’m thrown into total amazement when I see how ladies destroy themselves with the kind of advice they give to one another, when they are together. Being the only male child in my family, I have had the privilege of listening to ladies discuss a lot. You hear stuff like: “Forget him! Who does he think he is? My dear, you’re a very pretty girl” “Sis, don’t call him anymore. If he wants you, he should work very hard for you” “There are many guys out there, dying to have a beautiful girl like you. He should go to hell”. Any of these sound familiar?... get complete e-book at: http:///bsokada |
BEAUTIFUL SINGLES: MATURE YOURSELF ...The guys already know what you’re thinking; they know what you’re expecting. They know you’re looking for a guy who can talk you out of your senses, and they’ve got what you want. So, helplessly, you just wait for the guy to come and act out his drama, so you can also act out your own petty drama. Many sisters in Church are still very childish upstairs. They are too stereotyped, and thus, very predictable. They’ve built up in their minds, a predefined set of steps that a guy must follow-through before a relationship can start, and become “deep”, and then maybe graduate into marriage. You know, “the guy’s got to get close; and then ask to know my name; and then I tell him my name; he tells me I have a beautiful name, just as beautiful as I am; and then, he collects my phone number; then he begins to call me; then I reject his calls, maybe once or twice .... then we go from there; and then it starts to get deeper ...”; and I think this is so, partly because... get complete e-book at: http:///bsokada |
BEAUTIFUL SINGLES: MATURE YOURSELF ...I think this reduces a lady so much, and places her in the class of animals; and this is what Satan really wants — to devalue the woman completely! This was what he did to the first woman ever to be wooed — Eve. He used the craftiness of a mere beast (not even a spirit being) to work up the woman, to the point that she was willing to despise her man, and disobey her God, just to give-in to the allurement of a far lower life — that’s what I’m talking about... get complete e-book at: http:///bsokada |
BEAUTIFUL SINGLES: MATURE YOURSELF ...on that, so I felt I was up to the task. To cut the long story short: I never did show up at Isaac’s house. On the day I was supposed to go and “scope” the lady, I cringed in fear. Suddenly, reality downed on me! I realized it was no longer going to be just a practice session between me and my friend, Horror. I was going to be standing face to face with the girl who needed to be scoped for at least thirty minutes. Moreover, I couldn’t envision myself standing before that lady, looking her in the eyes, and whipping out a long list of lies, while maintaining the level of confidence I needed to really make her take me seriously. I knew how to lie as a little unsaved boy, but I wasn’t good to that extent. So, instead of showing up at Isaac’s house, I decided to stay back home and enjoy the TV Shows. But, it might also interest you to know that, that lady waited for me at Isaac’s house, from morning until evening (Isaac told me so). She was patiently waiting for a lie! Many ladies are also patiently waiting for a lie! They are looking for that smooth-tongued guy who will take them to Disney Land with his words. They want to hear how much of a princess they are. They want a guy who will tell them how they are the only mosquito in his net; the only sugar in his tea, and the only apple of his eyes (even if they are all lies); they are looking for a guy who will woo them. You know what the word “woo” means? It means, “to persuade someone to do something”, and hardly is it by telling the truth. So, to wait for a guy to come and woo you simply means, waiting for a guy to come and work on your psyche (by any means) to the point that you begin to see things his way — you succumb to his will (good or bad)... |
BEAUTIFUL SINGLES: MATURE YOURSELF ...from my siblings, when I began to successfully get the ladies, and change them like clothes, every now and then. By the time we were done, I began to behave like Eve (I started to think and see things differently. I also wanted the prestige that went with being seen with different “chicks” at different times, and having my way with them): it was like the Serpent skillfully working on Eve’s mind. And so, the stage was set for me to go flex my muscles; to practice all I had been taught. My friend, Isaac (who also called himself, Ice-T; he’s now late though) invited a lady to his house, just because of me. (It’s surprising how far young people can go to glorify the devil). He also informed the lady that it was one of his friends that was coming for her, and she agreed. (The lady said she already knew who I was, even though I didn’t know her). But something remarkable Isaac told me about that lady is sadly the state of mind of many single ladies, yes, even the Christian Single ladies. He said: ... but Chuck-Dee (that was my nick-name, before I got saved), the girl likes scope ... oh ..., so, just prepare yourself very well. In other words, Chuck-Dee, the girl likes someone who can really lie. So, just prepare yourself along those lines. But “Horror” had already gotten me up to speed... More coming... or get the complete e-book at: http:///bsokada |
BEAUTIFUL SINGLES: MATURE YOURSELF ...As a little boy, when I was not yet saved, I used to have some close friends who were very good at womanizing. They were really very good at it. They had studied the girls, and knew exactly the right buttons to press that would get their heads spinning out of control. One of my friends who nick-named himself “Horror” (even though his real and lovely name was ‘Joseph’) always took delight in coming to give me lectures about the same. He really wanted to educate me on the steps to becoming a successful girl-chaser, and how to get them to give-in to sex, almost immediately. Unfortunately for the devil (but fortunately for me), the more Joseph taught me about the many things I could do to a lady once I succeeded in getting her through his methods, the more frightened I became. I had always been a lone ranger, and couldn’t even stand the thought of going through all that stress to get a lady. Besides, I didn’t know what I would say when I stood before a lady; but this was where Joseph (Horror himself) excelled the most, and he was prepared to give me his best, so I could overcome that hurdle. So, Joseph talks to me about the importance of “Scoping” a lady. And if you don’t understand what it means to scope a lady (just like I didn’t at the time), it means, to dish-out well-crafted lies to a lady. It means to lie to a lady to the point that she gets completely confused, and becomes left with no other choice than to begin to dance to your tune. He also embellished the whole course, by letting me know how I would begin to bag some real respect, even... More coming... Get the complete e-book at: http:///bsokada

WISDOM & UNDERSTANDING: THE KEYS TO A SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP! https://i1175.photobucket.com/albums/r629/kingsleycokei/man%20and%20woman%20shouting_zps3pkdpxcc.jpg Now, this article is a discussion I have drawn-up from a section of my book, titled Beautiful Singles, under the heading, All Men Are Not The Same. It’s a discussion that looks at the challenge that rocked the relationship between David and his wife, Michal – 1 Samuel 6:14-24. Before I go into discussing the scriptures in 1 Samuel 6, I’d like to give us a brief overview of the said crisis. In that portion of scriptures, I saw a lady (Michal) who didn’t like the conduct of her man (David), and wanted to get him to conform to her own set-standard. She didn’t like the manner in which her man expressed his emotions. He was just too unrefined and childish (in that regard) for her liking. He needed to “grow up”; and she wanted to change that by all means. Now, here’s a little more detail about the event. The Ark of the Covenant of God had been carted away by the philistines. But David and his men were able to return the Ark to the city, after coming out victorious in battle, against the Philistine Soldiers. There was great rejoicing in the city; both man and woman; young and old; they were all rejoicing at the return of the Ark of the Covenant. However, I think King David took his own joy to the extreme (at least, in the eyes of his wife, Michal), and he became a great turn-off. See what the Bible said in 2 Samuel 6:14-16: "And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart." There are a few points I’d like to bring out from those portions of scriptures. Firstly, David (the king) was demonstrating his joy, in front of the whole city, in an unusual manner! He was demonstrating his joy in a manner that many men who were nowhere near his status wouldn’t even dare. He danced, shouted, jumped, and had his clothes falling off, in front of the servant girls. To make matters even worse, he was doing all that with his ephod (kingly/priestly robe) on. The thing wasn’t a pleasant sight to his wife, at all . Before I go any further, we need to understand that it was love that brought David and Michal together, in the first place. Yes! Michal really loved David. In fact, 1 Samuel 18:20 said: "And Michal Saul's daughter loved David…" At another time, Michal even had to risk her life to deliver David, from the hands of her father. See 1 Samuel 19:11-13: "Saul also sent messengers unto David's house, to watch him, and to slay him in the morning: and Michal David's wife told him, saying, If thou save not thy life tonight, tomorrow thou shalt be slain. So Michal let David down through a window: and he went, and fled, and escaped. And Michal took an image, and laid it in the bed, and put a pillow of goats' hair for his bolster, and covered it with a cloth." David also demonstrated his love for Michal, by officially going for her hand in marriage. Verse 27 of the same chapter said: "Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife." This goes to confirm that they both had strong affection for each other, from the very start. Sure, a lot of water had passed under the table (since they first came together) before this time, and possibly dampened their love (as it happens in many relationships); but the fact still remains that it was love that brought them together in the first place - no one was forced on the other! Let’s go further now. Michal watched her husband as he was jumping all over the place, in front of the whole city, and almost going half-naked; and she despised him in her heart. After the celebration, David blessed the people, and gave them gifts. Afterwards, he returned to bless his own household; but this was what he received: "...[his wife] Michal, daughter of Saul, came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel today, who stripped himself of his kingly robes, and uncovered himself in the eyes of his servants’ maids, as one of the worthless fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!" – 2 Samuel 6:20 (AMP) What a blow! The man was expecting to go celebrate with his family, but right at his doorsteps, he received an insult, from the one who was supposed to be his helper. David on the other hand, retorted immediately, and answered his wife (out of deep hurt) in a manner that left her barren for the rest of her life. 2 Samuel 6: 21 and 23 puts it this way: "And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD." Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death."[/i] Hmm! I think there’s a lot we can learn from this. Maybe Michal could have done things differently. David’s way of expressing his joy may have actually been over-the-board. But I also think that the truth, when not spoken in love, and at the right time, can sometimes start uncontrollable storms in our relationships. Maybe David (on the other hand) could have kept quiet, and just walked away. Maybe his silence could have at least saved his wife from the for-life bareness – I doubt it, though! Or maybe their relationship was lacking the two (2), very vital relationship-ingredients: wisdom and understanding! Anyways, I’d love to hear your comments on this matter. http://okadabooks.com/book/about/10461 God bless…

You raised some very interesting points here, and I'd like to comment on a few: 1.Can you start a life with a man in one room ?A very grave mistake that many single ladies make, even in the Church is such that they want an already-made man to settle with, in marriage. However, what these ladies fail to realize is that the world is growing more and more sophisticated by the day, and many men are also transforming into strange creatures, so difficult to understand and trust, especially when they've already made some good money. Some of these men, even when they hang around you (in the name of love and marriage), still nurse the idea that you are accepting them/clinging to them because you want their money. This thought-pattern usually leads some of these men to make very "wicked" moves (many times impregnating, and then abandoning the ladies, even in Church) that leave their victims heartbroken, cold, and completely despondent towards men. Of course, this situation may arise, even if the man is not well-to-do, but it's more common between ladies that have fastened themselves to their rich-young-rulers! We had a case like this in my former church! Again, this matter is like a two-sided coin. Some men are also guilty of this. I'm talking about those young men that are looking for high-class and rich ladies that will come and take all their troubles away. They complain that they are still single and want to marry, but in actual fact, they are complaining that they have not found a lady with a flourishing business and a flashy car, who will come and "marry them". These things ought not to be so; but since this post is for the ladies, I'll leave my dear sisters with this testimony: My Pastor friend in Ibadan got married to his wife when he had virtually nothing. In fact, he got married to his wife, and then the wife went back to live with her parents because my friend didn't even have "one-room" to his name. A good Samaritan eventually gave my friend a room, which he converted to his church . They (he and his wife) would preach in that single-room in the day time, and then spread their clothes on the floor, to sleep at night. It was in that level of discomfort that his wife became pregnant, and they had their first child. Today however, they are living like lords! Never despise the days of little beginnings - Zechariah 4:10 I encourage you to grab an e-copy of my book, titled Beautiful Singles, for free, for a limited time. Get it at the following URL: https://beautifulsingles.shortstack.com/3C9HVw 3.Can you have a very low budget wedding?: This is also a very strong one, as many people (even some Pastors) do not know that there is a difference between "marriage" and "ceremony"; as a result, many ladies (who confused marriage with ceremony) have wrecked their union (after the "Almighty Ceremony" ) because of their "bogus" spending. I'll share a testimony here: My father used to have a friend who nick-named himself G.O.C. He was a very popular MC (in wedding ceremonies in those days). To make my testimony as succinct as possible, I'll go straight to the point. G.O.C. planned his "marriage" in a grand style. He hired women in their droves to cook for the occasion, printed his invitation cards massively, and bought a really impressive number of crates of drink. He then hired a woman whose husband was a Police Commissioner at the time, to bake his wedding cakes. After getting that woman involved, he also approached my mum (my mum was a baker when she was alive) to bake more steps of cake for the wedding - what was he thinking? I don't know. As you read this, you might think that the man in question is really well-to-do, but that's not really the case. In fact, I think he was living below average; all I know he had was the popularity in Makurdi (Benue State), where I (and my parents) also lived at the time. But my mum smelled trouble coming, and argued that she wasn't disposed to also bake his wedding cakes. The wedding came and passed, and all seemed well. But a few weeks after the wedding, G.O.C. was thrown into prison, because he couldn't clear his debts. That Commissioner's wife who had baked his wedding cakes was the most aggrieved. She used all her connections to keep G.O.C. in prison until it became clear that if she left him in prison any longer, he would die without being able repay his debt. Out of pity, she threw G.O.C. out of prison, who immediately parked all he had in Makurdi, together with his new wife, and relocated to his village, because he could no longer cope in the city - what a shame! People need to understand that the first use of the word "wife" happened in Genesis 4:1, and I was puzzled to discover that there wasn't any ceremony; not even a Church gathering; yet, God saw it fit to call Eve the wife of Adam. That portion of scriptures revealed to me the true definition of marriage, and I'll share it here: Marriage is an agreement between a man and a woman to live as man and wife, in the presence of at least one (1) witness. Any other thing that follows after this is plain ceremony. In the case of Adam and Eve, the witnesses present were invisible witnesses: God, the Holy Angels, as well as some demons that watched from afar - see Genesis 2:20-25; 3:1 The LORD give you understanding! Finally, I'd like to add that ladies need to mature themselves to the point that they can (at the very least) cease from having this poor mentality that goes thus: chase me...chase me...and chase me! calculator123:Hello again, There is no case-study whatsoever, in the New Testament! As a matter of fact, after Jesus came, died, rose again from the dead, and ascended into glory, I do not believe that anyone can enter into God's Kingdom without knowing Jesus and confessing Him as LORD. There is absolutely no New Testament Proof that that is possible. When Jesus was on Earth, He said: "... I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father, except by (through) me." - John 14:6 (AMP) Where is the Father? He's in Heaven. So, Jesus was invariably saying that no man can enter into the "Third Heaven"(2 Corinth. 12:2), which is actually God's Kingdom; an actual citadel, beyond this natural life, without going through Him (the Way). And, do you know that even the dead souls that lived during the days of Noah (who were disobedient to the message of righteousness which Noah preached in those days, to turn the hearts of the people back to God while he constructed the ark) needed to hear the message of the cross, and then believe in Jesus Christ, giving them the opportunity to enter into the Kingdom? 1 Peter 3:19 says: "In which He went and preached to the spirits in prison, who long before in the days of Noah had been disobedient..." Also, I perceive in my Spirit, that the Holy Men of God (like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob etc.) who lived, walked with God, and then died "natural deaths" (their bodies seeing corruption in the graves), centuries before the Lord Jesus Christ ever came to this Earth in the flesh (under the Old Covenant/Testament) also had an encounter with Jesus in the spirit, after His death and resurrection. They too had to listen to the gospel and put their faith in Christ, who eventually served as their passage-way to heaven. Mathew 27:53 says: "The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep in death were raised [to life] ... And coming out of the tombs AFTER HIS RESURRECTION, they went into the Holy City and appeared to many people" (AMP) However, there were a few Men of God under the Old Covenant who never met Jesus Christ before they were transitioned by God into the third heaven, because their mortal bodies never saw corruption in the grave. A few of those I could find in scriptures were: Enoch, Elijah, and Moses. In fact, Elijah and Moses appeared to Jesus (even before His death) on the Mount of Transfiguration - Mark 9:4. ...hope this throws some light! God bless... |

calculator123:Hello dear, The robber on the cross is not a case study at all. As a matter of fact, the robber on the cross knew Jesus Christ (even though it was during his last moments on earth), acknowledged him as the Christ (Messiah), and submitted to his Lordship. This is evident in the statement he made to Jesus, on the cross: "And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom" - Luke 23:42 That statement alone was a confession of faith in Jesus as the Christ, and became his passkey to paradise. "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise" - Luke 23:43 Blessings... |
charlesucheh:Did you mean: Is it possible for one not to know JESUS, Fulfill the 10 commandments unconsciously and still go to heaven? If that was the question you meant to ask, I'd answer - Maybe! If God shows you mercy. But, to be on the safest side, just submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, obey the leading of the Holy Spirit, and you'll be fine. |

. They (he and his wife) would preach in that single-room in the day time, and then spread their clothes on the floor, to sleep at night. It was in that level of discomfort that his wife became pregnant, and they had their first child. Today however, they are living like lords!
