There's nothing bad about eating your meat/fish after emptying your plate of food. Infact as a kid growing up,you dare not eat your meat until after you must have emptied your plate. Then you you'll have to wait for your parents to share the meat/fish accordingly amongst you and your siblings...if any. This is how I was raised.

This is indeed very sad. Please no one should help me again nor send anything to us. Reading comments here could be indeed very saddening. Thanks Jainine for the 25k... I have always acknowledged your support and assistance. If anyone here resides in Rivers state, please come and ask of Mr Obinna or Papa Jayna the one the wife sells Zobo at No 11 railway, off afam road, Kom kom Oyigbo, Rivers state. I hail from Orlu in IMO state. I have been on Nairaland for over 5years, I have never in my lifetime had any reasons to ask for anyone for a penny online. THIS IS THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE. I finally lost her after I asked to my wife and my only daughter to go stay at the village for some time till things returns to normal. Greetings sir Waveskaaya! I can never forget you till I die for coming through for me and my family when all hope was lost. God bless you! My daughter was discharged two days ago and she's doing so well right now, she'll be going for check up every 3days. Something miraculous happened on the day she was due to be discharged, So the hospital had actually given a bill way above the estimated sum of 22k for her treatment, I said I wasn't going to tell you about it cos you've done too much already, as a matter of I had decided if they didn't allow us go, that I was going to leave my wife and daughter at hospital while i bring food for them daily. So on that faithful day I logged on to nairaland while in the bus on my way home , i didn't even know what to think or where to go, then I saw an Email from a nairalander, I wanted to ignore at first, but I just replied. The Nairalander enquired about my daughter's health and I told he she's doing fine, then the Nairalander asked that I send my account number so she could help me get fruits and few other things for her. I was speechless and sent my account number, some few moments later, I got an alert of #15k from her and it seemed like a dream, that 15k was the same extra balance needed to get my daughter discharged from the hospital. I rushed back and paid the said sum and I was still thinking how I'll get all of us back cos the money left on me wasn't up to the transportation fare that could take us back home. I didn't even tell my wife I had just #400 left, so whilst still standing at the bus stop, A doctor from the hospital asked us to get into his car that he was going our way. I have gone to the previous clinic behind my house now, I didn't mind The time. I asked the nurses there and they said I should go with atleast 20k that it should take care of everything. I've gone on my own, made enquires and I'm just returning home. I will have to register with 5k and overall treatment will cost 22k... I had to plead with them before it was reduced. I'm back home. I haven't sir Waveskaaya , but I just want to have more than the 5k I currently have. I learnt their card alone is 5k, I'll still have to dip hands into the 5k for our transportation. So I just want to be a bit prepared, seeing my daughter this way is really heartbreaking... My wife can't stop crying, I'm just holding up like a man. I need her to stay alive for us. Tried every means of selling our TV set today, but no one that I met was willing to buy cos I know the hospital will definitely ask for an initial deposit. I'm just fed up and tired!

It's only Inter state movements that are totally locked for now, imposition of dusk to dawn curfew and total lockdown for all businesses, markets except for essential workers like doctors, nurses and security operatives. This is past midnight, 12:32 am to be precise and we are very much awake due to her condition. You are the only reason I've been visiting nairaland since today.
