You are quoting beegle or beegeagle to counter my response? you are indeed a dummy - I will send you a link from New York Times, which has more reputation than some blogger that clearly states Obasanjo was a Lieutenant General at the time he left service on Oct 1, 1979

BTW - anyone who attains the rank of a Major General and above is often called General and this is where the confusion comes from - Just like people erroneously call Buhari - Gen. Buhari, no he retired as a Major General. Let me paste the link below and please read through. This is from the New York Times of Oct 2, 1979

And Aziza and others you mentioned I dont know them because I left Nigeria already before those ones came to national limelight - BUT I can tell you categorically that DOMKAT YALI BALI was never a 4- star General in the Nigerian Army. I knew when he was a Major General. MAYBE he was later promoted as Lieutenant General, but never a full General - with an EAGLE, 2 STARS and a CROSS on his shoulder - NEVER. In the IBB Junta, only IBB and Abacha had that rank in the Nigerian Army!!! grin

Must you always be abusive in your response. As learned as you claim you are could not drive home your point without negative word.
Thanks for d link thou, will check it out

No one disputes he wasn’t a warlord - but the Nigerian Army tank he attained at the time of his retirement was Lt. Gen, kindly base your argument on facts and not emotions, enuff said

No Sir, he retired as Lieutenant General (Lt.Gen) which is a 3-Star General on Oct. 1, 1979. (Be Guided)
I disagree with u. He retired as a general. U need to search and read ur history texts very well sir. But dis time around, read slowly so that u wont miss anything. He was even more of a genetal dan d rest. It was why he called himself warlord.

Amen! Cus every good things govt did in Ekiti today... Fayose's works was about 70% of them... u will sit at the dirty corner of ur room spitin rubbish online... Buhari Pinkin ... Onigbese, modaru!!! LOLZZ
Don't mind some people. The e-warrior legend. Some hav not even visited ekiti b4. At the level ekiti is, take away fayose contribution and ekiti will be reduce to a local local government with no good road or anything worth pointing to. Fayose might hav his bad side ; infact he has obviously his own bad side, but saying he didnt do anything is pure ignorance, I pray fayemi can just do 60 percent of wat fayose did and ekiti won't be where fayose left it. I am not a politician but i am an Ekiti man who hav seen them all

Na so oo. Let all stick to d preventive measures highlighted. I dont see any reason why schuls should be locked wen some other rowdy places are in free for all movement. Atleast, uni students can return as some of dem are in their finals ready to join the world after graduation. Even nysc no gree close camp again. Everybody don tire but let us use facemask and keep to the social distance rule

Education / Words And Acronyms That Gained Popularity In Year 2020. by Yello1(m): 7:38pm On Jan 03, 2021
Some words were constantly used in the media, religious places, work environs, by individuals or group in the just past year. While some had been in existence before now, some came into existence just this last year. Below are those that i can still remember, nairalanders are free to add theirs.

Sanitizer
Pandemic
Covid19
Lockdown
SARS
Palliative
Scamdemic
Strike
Facemask
Quarantine
Isolation
Ban
Kidnapping... etc

They are more than these listed but these are the few ones i can pick. Feel free to add urs.
May we all have great words to utter this year.
