Christians claims an
omniscient God created man and woman
and put them in a Garden. He gave them
everything but a sense of right and
wrong. He planted a tree in the center of
the garden and made it bear beautifully
attractive fruit knowing (since he is all
knowing) that they would eat it. And
when they did just what he had planned
(since he is omnipotent, and he gave them
no sense of right and wrong) he was
stunned. Never saw that coming. His
whole wonderful plan was spoiled and he
had to put a taint of original sin that they
couldn't know was sin (they did not
know good from evil) on them that would
be passed down to their children
throughout all the generations and he
would have to torture all of them in
eternal, unimaginable suffering, because
he loves them all. But then he hatched a
plan to send himself down to earth and
impregnate a woman with himself so he
could sacrifice himself to himself to take
away the taint of sin caused when a
talking snake convinced the woman to eat
the magic fruit and give some to her man.

Swallow all that and you are left to deal
with the fact that there were people living
all around the Earth, but even though this
God character LOVES all his children and
wants them all to have a personal
relationship with him, it somehow slipped
his omniscient mind to announce
anything about his grand plan to anyone
living outside a tiny area around the
Mediterranean Sea for centuries, so
billions lived and died in far off lands
never even hearing about this Jesus they
must accept. And to make matters worse,
instead of just showing up on Earth and
revealing himself, his great plan to
redeem us all was to hide so well he is
totally undetectable. When something is
entirely undetectable and we can't even
measure its influence on other things,
there is really no difference between its

I believe Analize701 is talking of Yathrib (modern day city of Medina), however, this person's understanding of the story is rather very unsophisticated. First of all, Medina is an oasis, but of course, naturally formed. It was not converted by the jews as (s)he claims. Also, I'm not sure about the day Muhammed attacked, but the outcome of that attack was devastating. In some ways also, inevitable. During their stay in Yathrib, the tensions between the Muslim and the leaders of some local Jewish tribes simmered and eroded the trust that allowed the Muslims into Medina in the first instance. I guess the Muslims felt betrayed also, because, in spite of them acknowledging the Jews as among god's chosen, and even praising all their prophets and what not, the Jewish leadership in these tribes, though accepting Muhammed's political leadership, refused to acknowledge the supremacy of his religion. Some did convert to Islam, but many didn't make it a secret that they considered Muhammed's message a fraudulent rip off! On several occasions, they would rebuff his attempts to convert them by asking him difficult questions. So, in spite of his wide acceptance in Medina, he wasn't universally liked by all the leading tribes there.
For some reason, Muhammed chronicled his frustrations with this set of Jews in several parts of the Qur'an, apparently, as god's response to them. This is just one of his responses below:

So what happened?
Before the Muslims arrived Yathrib, it was a relatively stable free market economy with no real leadership, just a bunch of tribes, each having their own tribal representative in a sort of community congress. These tribes were a mix of Arabized Jewish tribes like banu Aws, core Jewish ones like banu Qurayzah and Banu Nadir; as well as other core Arab tribes and perhaps others that were unrecorded. Around the year 622AD, Muhammed was invited to Medina to come and settle a dispute between two of the leading tribes then, Banu Aws and Banu Khazraj, as he was seen as trust worthy. Among the conditions for his participation was that as an independent arbiter, he was to become the de facto leader of Medina, and his decisions would be final. Made sense, as many found his judgements fair; and even became Muslims as a result. He also instituted a representative theocratic government in which Jews were expressly allowed to govern themselves in accordance with their own legal codes, but they were still subject to state taxes instituted for the welfare of the state.

Unfortunately, during one of the battles with the pagans of Mecca, the battle of the trenches (so named because the Muslims were grossly outnumbered and decided to protect themselves by digging trenches around their city),one of the Jewish tribes, Banu Qurayzah, conspired with the Meccans to attack the Muslims from behind, perhaps because they weren't happy with their new subordinate status or maybe their mistrust for the divine claims of Muhammed had reached its climax. Either way, they grossly miscalculated. The Meccans had planned to weaken the Muslims by siege; and then Qurayzah would finish them off, but the siege didn't last long, as the arid climate with its treacherous sand storms frustrated the Meccans. Meanwhile, the Muslims got wind of the intentions of Banu Qurayzah, and marched on them as soon as the battle was over. The leadership of banu Qurayzah had betrayed one of the key provisions in the Medina constitution, and Muhammed, knowing the punishment for this kind of betrayal according to Jewish traditions would be severe; and at the same time, navigating around a tense political situation (at this point, the Jews of Yathrib were still vastly more influential in the city than the Muslims), he appointed the leader of banu Aws who had converted to Islam, to pronounce judgement on banu Qurayzah according to the Torah. The judgement was severe: Kill all male members of the tribe that have attained the age of puberty; and enslave women and children. This was a politically deft move! He at once, eliminated his political opponents, while not incurring the wrath of the powerful Arabised Jewish tribes in Medina. But it was just as stupendously atrocious. Nevertheless, it solidified the Muslims' stronghold on Yathrib and allowed then to subsequently institute more severe strains of their theology.

Let us settle this issue of tithe once and for all.

Those who preach and promote tithe succeeded to a large extent by instilling fears into the people so they won't question the rationale behind tithe and tithing.

As I have said earlier, because Jesus was not from the tribe of Levi, he did not demand a tithe. His descent from the tribe of Judah makes him ineligible to receive tithe, so why do we Christians (Christ-like) receive tithes.

The focal point of the tithe is that IT IS ONLY MEMBERS OF THE TRIBE OF LEVI who were ordained to receive tithe. The Levites in return as demanded by God were to give a tenth of that tithe to the priest (Read Numbers 18:25-28).

Modern-day pastors represent the priest in the old testament. In Number 18:1-21, God commanded the priests to take their brethren, the Levites to come and assist them in the temple with certain restrictions and he gave the priest their own inheritance of the offerings brought into the temple, of all first offspring of both animals and humans. To this end, any Pastor collecting tithe is only usurping the inheritance of the Levites because God did not authorize the priest to receive tithe. Going further, if modern day pastors receive tithes as they are now claiming ownership of tithes, then to whom did they give the 10 percent God commanded the Levites to give to the Priest.
If the act of offering animal sacrifices as commanded by God, is no longer valid today, then why is TITHE

Payment of tithe as ordained by God is to only a group of people, and only one group... The LEVITES. It is categorically stated that the tribe of Levi, one of the twelve ancient tribes in Israel, and no one else, had the authority to receive tithe. (Numbers 3:1-10,24, Number 4)

People are quick to refer to Genesis 14:20 and Genesis 28:22 when Abraham and Jacob practiced tithing. However, we should understand clearly that Abraham practiced practices tithing willingly and voluntarily devoid of any divine injunction. He also gave a tithe from the spoils of war and not from his produce. Jacob's tithing, on the other hand, was a promised he made to God if God will bless him.

Modern-day Pastors are totally disqualified from receiving tithe because there is no OFFICIAL body of men functioning as the Levites.

No one has the right to choose to whom they pay the tithe that God has ordained to be paid to the Levites. So it is not only the receiver of tithe that disobeys God, but also the payers.(Numbers 16:47-54, Deuteronomy 10:1-9) You cannot do that which God has not appointed you to do, those who tried it are severely punished, some with death. 2 Samuel 6:1-8, 1 Chronicles 13: 9-12.

Burnt offering and tithe are practiced in Judaism. So why leave out the burnt offering and hold on to tithe.

Preachers, Prophets, Pastors, G.O's should heed the teaching of God and refrain from taking what does not belong to them.
only if they will read and understand

u must be one of those automated idiots on this forum or maybe u forgot ur brain where u slept last night, incase u don't know what happened read this b4 u foolishly quote me.....
Our attention has been drawn to media reports that the Nigeria Police had applied for a bench warrant to arrest the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Motors, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, over unfounded allegations of forgery and loan infractions with GTBank.
Consequently, we’ve deemed it proper to respond and put the records straight.
To be clear, a bench warrant can only be applied for and, if the necessary conditions are met, be issued by a court in a pending charge. As it stands, there is no charge pending against Mr. Chukwuma, Innoson Motors, Charles Chukwu, Maximian Chukwura, Mistsui Osk Lines and Anajekwu Sunny.
The police got involved in the ongoing legal dispute between Innoson Group and GTBank on December 21, 2015, when the Inspector General of Police initiated a lawsuit, charge number: FHC/L/565C/2015, against Mr. Chukwuma and five others based on frivolous complaints by GTBank.
But on February 17, 2016, the police withdrew the charges, saying they needed to properly investigate the bank’s complaints first and see if they had merits.
Since the police have withdrawn their charges, it is then wrong for the same police to seek arrest warrant against Mr. Chukwuma on the claims that he was evading court proceedings.
A prosecutor at the Office of Attorney-General told the court that the police filed charges against Innoson Group executives in December 2015 but he didn’t inform the court that the same police had withdrawn the matter weeks later.
This was a perhaps an attempt by the Ministry of Justice official to mislead the court because the presiding judge, Ayotunde Faji, had only recently took over the matter.
The failure by the police to carefully investigate complaints before taking Innoson Motors and its executives to court and the involvement of the AGF’s office were amongst the numerous tactics which GTBank had deployed to avoid paying its debt to Innoson Motors.
THE GENESIS OF THE WITHDRAWN ALLEGATIONS; SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT.
At all material time, Innoson Nigeria Ltd. was a customer of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc. Sometime in 2012, Innoson discovered that GTBank had arbitrarily imposed and debited its current account to the tune of N700 million in excessive and unlawful charges.
Despite a series of complaints and demand for reversal of the illegal charges, a defiant GTBank refused to refund the N700 million to Innoson.
Consequently, Innoson sued GTBank before the Federal High Court in Awka, Anambra State.
Delivering judgement in suit number: FHC/AWK/CS/139/2012, the FHC awarded N4.7 billion to Innoson Motors against GTBank. The court also ordered GTBank to pay 22 percent interest on the judgment debt until all the payment had been made to Innoson.
GTBank challenged the judgement at the Court of Appeal, Enugu Division. The appeal number is: CA/E/288/2013.
However, on December 9, 2014, the Court of Appeal upheld the judgement of the FHC and ordered GTBank to pay its debt to Innoson into an interest-yielding account operated by the court. By then, the debt had accumulated to over N6 billion.
Similarly, the Federal High Court, Ibadan Division, in a garnishee order absolute made on July 29, 2011, ordered GTBank to pay N2.4 billion to Innoson. The case number is: FHC/L/CS/603/2006.
Also, the Court of Appeal, Ibadan Division, in its judgment of February 6, 2014 affirmed the decision of the FHC and ordered GTBank to pay N2.4 billion. The appeal number is: CA/I/258/2011.
Based on the numerous judicial pronouncements to the appellate levels, GTBank was indebted to Innoson Motors up to N8.5 billion as at 2013/2014.
In its various affidavits, particularly at the Court of Appeal in suit number: CA/E/288/2013, GTBank deposed that if it pays the outstanding judgment debt of N6 billion, much less the N8.5 billion, it could go bankrupt and be out of business.
Consequently, in order to save itself from paying the outstanding judgment debts to Innoson, the bank filed a petition which led to the suit No: FHC/L/565C/2015 – which was properly and competently withdrawn by the police on February 17, 2016 as stated above.
ON THE ALLEGATION OF FALSIFICATION OF SHIPPING DOCUMENTS TO OBTAIN A N2.4 BILLION LOAN FROM GTBANK.
GTBank did not at any time grant any loan of N2.4 billion to Innoson. And there was no such thing as Innoson obtaining any loan from GTB with shipping documents.
Innoson obtained, and had repaid same, a loan of N1.3 billion from GTB which was secured with a legal mortgage of its properties valued at more than N1.4 billion.
Please note that shipping documents, vide: bills of lading, are issued when goods covered by them are already loaded onto the conveying vessel.
It is highly unlikely that any manufacturer would release its goods for shipment unless it had been paid or its payment had been guaranteed.
In this circumstance, is GTBank saying that Innoson used bills of lading to obtain loan from it but it didn’t investigate the genuineness of the documents before granting the loan? This, surely, should not be an attribute of a seasoned financial institution; except that of an unethical and a careless bank.
Secondly, it also means that for Innoson to have the bills of lading, the goods were already paid for or their payment guaranteed and, as such, the company did not need any loan from GTBank in that regard.
This alone disproves GTBank’s claim that a loan was obtained with dubious shipping documents – bills of lading.
Moreso, GTBank paid the duties for all the goods Innoson imported with the facility it granted to it before Innoson cleared the goods covered using the bills of lading.
As at the time of payment of the duties, GTBank knew or ought to know that the goods covered by the bills of lading and its facility were to be cleared.
Also, after clearing the goods Innoson returned to GTBank the relevant exchange rate documents for onward transmission to Central Bank of Nigeria, and accordingly GTBank transmitted the paperwork to the CBN.
Innoson didn’t do anything hidden, fraudulent or criminal in all its dealings with GTBank.
The bank is only looking for means to blackmail, hoodwink and force Innoson to forego its monetary judgment, which now stands at estimated N10 billion.
GTBank’s desperate schemes in this regard know no limit.
Recently, in a ploy to get the Supreme Court of Nigeria to set aside the N2.4 billion judgment debt against it, it alleged, through a motion in suit number: SC/694/2014, that the Court of Appeal judgement in Ibadan (CA/I/258/2011) was procured by suspicious means. But the Supreme Court in its wisdom, and rightly, dismissed that unfounded and exasperating claim in May 2017.
As a result, Innoson commenced a N400 billion suit against GTBank, in Suit No: FCT/HC/CV/2448/2017, at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Also pending before the Court of Appeal is an appeal on whether there is any charge at the Federal High Court, given the police withdrawal of the charge.
Even though the motion for a stay of proceedings was dismissed by the Court of Appeal while the substantive appeal is still ongoing, Innoson has appealed against that decision to the Supreme Court of Nigeria in suit number: SC:839/2017.
The Office of the Attorney-General is proceeding with the case even after the police have withdrawn their charges because they had not concluded investigation.
At the Supreme Court, Innoson filed motions to quash the directive of the Court of Appeal which had erroneously ruled that proceedings should continue despite police having withdrawn from the case at the High Court.
Innoson has served the Federal High Court notices of the motions pending at the Supreme Court.
Therefore, contrary to media reports, Justice Faji did not adjourn on October 10, 2017 to November 21, 2017 for hearing of the application for issuance of bench warrant.
Rather, the judge requested time to study ruling of the Court of Appeal and to hear Innoson’s and others’ preliminary objections.
There was no pending application for issuance of bench warrant against Innoson Group executives before Honourable Justice Faji on October 10, 2017.

Phones / How I Scored The Two New Smartphone Kings In The Market iPhone x vs Note8 by yellow237(m): 3:58pm On Dec 14, 2017
By way of background, here are key points about this review. First, this commentary focuses on productivity features that matter to business people. If you care mostly about games or other specialized uses, this review will not match your needs. Second, over the years, I have owned many models of both iPhone and Android mobile devices, from phones to tablets, with no allegiance to either platform. Third, I bought the iPhone X while Samsung sent me the Note 8 for free to keep, so bear that in mind as you try to infer bias in either direction.
To figure out which phone is better for business people, I created a scoring framework based on the attributes below. You can see a summary table at the bottom of this article.
A word about scores - READ THIS. I assigned each feature or attribute a score ranging from 0 to 15. Higher score features mean that item is more important, useful, or innovative. For example, Samsung gets a + 1 for the headphone jack, because it's nice but not that important. Apple gets a + 15 because the Face ID system is both great and important.
To calculate the result, I added up individual scores to create a single summary for each device. That summary reflects both specific features and their practical value to business people.
I ignored future promises, such as augmented reality, because they serve little practical function today. Most business people will not find much use for an animated poop animoji, such as Apple includes with iPhone X, for example.
HARDWARE
The Data-Safe Cloud
White Papers provided by AWS
From a hardware perspective, both phones are beautiful, truly worthy of modern flagship devices. Still, we need to make a choice so let's compare.
Speed and performance. In practical use, both phones are "fast enough." The iPhone X has a specialized processor for AI and augmented reality while the Note 8 has more RAM. But, honestly, does it matter? Talk to me about AI processors in the future when AI dominates our lives and AR is useful on a practical level. If you are playing games and trying to coax higher frame rates, then perhaps the differences are important, otherwise no.
Typical business users will find that both phones are great. Scores: Apple +10 and Samsung +10
Physical size. The iPhone X is smaller and fits more easily in a pocket, It's also easier to use one-handed. With phones, smaller is better, but Samsung makes excellent use of that larger size to include a higher resolution screen. Physical reality means you must trade off overall phone size against screen resolution and screen size. Scores: Apple + 10 and Samsung + 10
Storage expansion. Unlike the iPhone X, the Note 8 offers the ability to use a second SIM card or add storage with a MicroSD card. Strike a blow in favor of Samsung. Scores: Apple + 0 and Samsung +3
Power connector. The Note 8 uses an industry standard USB-C power connector, while the iPhone has a Lightning connector. Apple has already made the switch to USB-C in its laptops but keeps the proprietary and expensive Lightning cable for the iPhone. If you have a new MacBook laptop and an iPhone, you must deal with two different power cables, and that just sucks when you travel. Scores: Apple + 0 and Samsung +2
Fast charging. Both support fast charging, which allows the phone to gain a fifty percent charge after being connected to the power supply for only thirty minutes. However, Samsung includes everything you need for a fast charge in the box, while Apple forces you to buy a special charger and cable as optional items. Seriously, Apple, did you have to cheap out on a $1,000 phone?? Scores: Apple + 0 and Samsung +2
Stylus. The Note 8 has one while the iPhone X does not. If you want to use handwriting, the Note 8 is your choice.
Scores: Apple + 0 and Samsung + 3
Camera. According to the definitive source for mobile camera testing, DXO Optics, both phones offer best in class cameras. Dig into the details, and you will find each phone has specific strengths and weaknesses, relative to the other, for still photography,
telephoto use, and video. Scores: Apple + 10 and Samsung + 10
Headphone jack. The Note 8 has a headphone jack while the iPhone X doesn't, giving Samsung users more flexibility and choice. Scores: Apple + 0 and Samsung + 1
Hardware mute button. The Apple phone has a little switch on the left side that turns off audio; on the Samsung, muting audio requires you to turn on the phone, swipe down from the top, and press the software mute switch. Not a big deal, but the iPhone wins this one. Scores:
Apple + 1 and Samsung + 0
SECURITY
Security often requires trade-offs between convenience and protection. Both phones are secure, but Face ID on the iPhone X is a big winner and one of its most compelling features.
Access method - Apple Face ID vs. Samsung fingerprint sensor. To avoid the hassle of entering a password every time you use the phone, the Note 8 has a fingerprint sensor while the iPhone X uses its front-facing camera to recognize your face; Apple calls this Face ID.
Before the iPhone X arrived, I was skeptical that Face ID would work fearing it would be inaccurate and error-prone. I was wrong. In fact, Face ID offers a stunning level of convenience. Face ID is a convenient time-saver and is great. Although not perfect, for example, it can only store one person's face, Face ID is one of the best features of the iPhone X.
The fingerprint sensor on the Note 8 works extremely well and is fast. Some people have complained about its location, but frankly, that's just whining so ignore the complainers. Although the Samsung fingerprint sensor does the job, Face ID is better. Scores: Apple + 15 and Samsung + 0
Trust and safety. Both Samsung and Apple are large reputable companies offering sophisticated security to their customers, so this is not an issue on either side. Scores: Apple + 10 and Samsung + 10
DISPLAY
The screen matters and both phones offer the business person a great display, although there are differences.
Screen resolution and size. While both screens are outstanding, Samsung offers significantly higher resolution than does the iPhone X. When combined with the larger screen size, the Note 8 offers more territory for reading, checking out maps, and so on. However, the tradeoff, as mentioned earlier, is the larger overall phone size. Whether that makes a difference is purely a personal choice.
Although most reviewers would give higher screen resolution a higher score, in this case I have balanced resolution against larger phone size. In summary, both screens are excellent, so you need to decide based on personal preference.
Scores: Apple + 10 and Samsung + 10
Screen quality. Both phones display bright, rich, colors that are fabulous.
Scores: Apple + 10 and Samsung + 10
Display calibration and accuracy. The Note 8 has several display modes, with techy names like adaptive, AMOLED cinema, and Basic. I assume those modes do something useful, but I just set the phone to adaptive, which seems the simplest, general-purpose choice. Set to adaptive, the display is beautiful, but whites seem slightly off, and colors pop unnaturally. I'm sure there are settings to address these issues, but stuff like this should work correctly out of the box.
For color accuracy, the iPhone X display is superior to the Note 8. Respected video diagnostics company,
DisplayMate , tested the iPhone X, calling the screen:
... superbly accurate, high performance, and gorgeous display, with close to Text Book Perfect Calibration and Performance!!
The iPhone X is the most innovative and high-performance Smartphone display that we have ever tested.
Although the iPhone X has greater color accuracy, the average business person will not find that precision to be especially meaningful. However, if you are a professional photographer or fashion designer using the phone to show your work, then color accuracy is essential and this could be reason enough to choose the iPhone X. But, for us business people, it's a minor benefit.
Scores: Apple + 3 and Samsung + 0
Always-on display. The Note 8 lets you keep a portion of the screen always powered on to show the weather, notifications, and other information. It's a small, but nice, touch. Scores: Apple + 0 and Samsung + 1
SOFTWARE AND ECOSYSTEM
Choosing the Apple or Android (Google) ecosystems is a core decision when selecting a phone.
iOS vs. Android. Five years ago, iOS would have easily won this contest. Today, Android is a mature operating system that many people prefer over iOS. I have experienced very few problems finding comparable apps on both platforms. At the same time, iOS still offers a smoother and more consistent experience than Android.
Scores: Apple + 10 and Samsung + 8
Keyboard. This one is a very big deal. For those of us cursed with stubby fingers, the extra real estate of the Note 8 means larger keys that are far easier to use than those on the iPhone X. Whether this matters to you is another matter of personal preference (and finger size), but I find the Note 8 to be vastly superior when typing. Scores: Apple + 0 and Samsung + 10
SCORE SUMMARY
To determine scores, I created the list of business features and then evaluated each phone based on the priority of those features. To my astonishment, the numbers came out almost identical in both cases.
iPhone x - 89.
Note 8 - 90
What should you buy? The Note 8 score beats the iPhone X by one point, which means parity between the devices.
For most people, the decision comes down to three factors:
1. Size. Do you want a smaller phone or a larger screen?
2. Ecosystem. Do you prefer Android or iOS?
3. Access method. Face ID offers great convenience over a fingerprint sensor. How important is that to you?
Beyond these points, look at specific features to see what matters most to you. For example, if you are a professional photographer, the better screen calibration on the iPhone X could be your defining feature. On the other hand, if you have fat fingers or bad eyes, the Note 8 will be easier to use.
