Long overdue. I was particularly not impressed with two Yorubas running that ministry and fresh ideas are needed from that of Edun.

One of the greatest realities in destiny is that life does not always go as expected. Scripture makes it clear that speed, strength, wisdom, and skill do not automatically guarantee success and greatness. There are moments when life defies logic. Those who seem most qualified may not get the opportunity, while others with fewer visible advantages rise. This is the mystery of time and chance.

The preacher also observed a strange reversal in life: servants riding on horses while princes walk on foot (Eccl 10.7). This shows that life does not always reward appearance, talent, or potential in the way we expect. Who you are does not automatically determine what you experience.

This means life must be approached with understanding. The imperfections of life create opportunities for those who are prepared to respond rightly. Many people fail not because they lack ability, but because they do not recognise or take the opportunities presented to them.

Your qualities, whether intelligence, beauty, strength, or spirituality, are not enough on their own. Without the right character, timing, and responsiveness, they may not produce the desired results. Destiny is fulfilled when a man aligns himself with God’s will and takes responsibility for the opportunities placed before him.

Life becomes meaningful when you stop waiting for perfect conditions and start responding to real situations with wisdom and faith. The man who succeeds is not the one who had the perfect start, but the one who used his moments well. Do not be discouraged when life does not follow your plan. Instead, stay aligned with God, build the right character, and take your chances when opportunities appear. That is how purpose is fulfilled in an imperfect world.

Questions for Meditation
Am I waiting for perfect conditions before taking action? Have I missed opportunities because life did not look the way I expected? Am I developing the character needed to respond to life wisely?

Lord, help me to understand the realities of life and to walk in wisdom. Give me the grace to respond rightly to every situation and not to be discouraged by imperfections. Help me to take my chances at the right time and to fulfill my purpose according to Your will, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Life is not perfect, but purpose can still be fulfilled. Success comes from aligning with God and responding wisely to opportunities.
