Don't resign. Depending on your terms of employment, you are supposed to give a notice before resignation or pay in lieu of notice. If you resign, you may not get any money. You may not be sacked eventually. Don't die before you are killed. |

2019 Elections: Why Nigerians should listen to Obasanjo’s warnings (DETAILS) politicsngr.com Apr 8, 2018 10:35 AM obasanjo - 2019 Elections: Why Nigerians should listen to Obasanjo's warnings (DETAILS) Before Obasanjo’s administration, Nigeria’s GDP growth had been painfully slow since 1987, and only managed 3 per cent between 1999 and 2000. However, under Obasanjo the growth rate doubled to 6 per cent until he left office. Nigeria’s foreign reserves rose from $2 billion in 1999 to $43 billion on leaving office in 2007. This was despite the fact that he was able to secure debt pardons from the Paris and London club amounting to some $18 billion and paid another $18 billion to be debt free. Obasanjo inherited a depleted treasury and a Nigeria that had been suspended from many international organisations due to the misdeeds of the maximum ruler, Sani Abacha. But Obasanjo never wasted time criticising Abacha even though Abacha sent him to jail. He hit the ground running from day one even though oil price was just $16 per barrel when Obasanjo assumed office in 1999. No former leader in Nigeria from 1979 till date has surpassed Obasanjo’s achievements. No Nigerian leader is respected internationally like Obasanjo even though the man is no saint. Let this sink in before you attack Obasanjo for criticising Buhari who has told us that he will continue to nag and complain about his predecessor, Jonathan, till thy kingdom come. Obasanjo recovered more stolen money ($2bn) than Buhari and went ahead to set up structures (ICPC and EFCC) for fighting corruption. Obasanjo recovered money from the Abacha government which Buhari insists never stole money. Obasanjo tried his own Inspector-General of Police for corruption and he was convicted and yet anti-corruption war was not the cornerstone of his administration. When Obasanjo speaks, I think Buhari and his supporters should sit devotedly and learn. Credits: Eniola Akinkuotu Open Opera News to Read More Report a problem default 100 dislike dislike |
These Guys talk as if they are not Nigerians. Since when is having the best of CV a guarantee for good job in Nigeria? Passing aptitude tests and interviews does not guarantee good jobs in Nigeria. As a matter of fact, looking for job is now job in this country. Connection has become a common yardstick for getting good jobs in this country. When was the last time Government organizations like CBN, NNPC, NPDC, NDIC and NLNG recruit common men? This is where the favour of God comes in. That is what makes the difference. I attended the service. It was about starting with what you have and where you are until the big offer comes. |
sucre:I am equally in south-south. Stanbic IBTC is recruiting. which other banks are recruiting? |

Hi OP, I need this product; https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002KCC9LY/ref=mw_dp_mpd?pd=1 Kindly let me know the cost of getting two of this product to Lagos. |
It all depends on what your future ambition is. if it is to have job prospects both in Nigeria and outside Nigeria, I will advise you go for Msc in UK and CFA. If you have these two, you will offers to choose from. Nigeria labour market is already saturated. Having international certifications will give you an edge and advances your career faster. ICAN is limited. Even Students who are yet to graduate have ICAN. I love your level of reasoning. You are considerate and well informed. All the best. |
@Victor101, The Professor, I hail you Sir. I sent you a mail. Kindly respond pls. |
I think we need to organize prayer session so that Stanbic will start sending the outstanding offer letters! The suspense is killing. |

Stanbic IBTC doing Guys strong thing since 1894. This thread is dying. Offer letters are needed to revive this thread. |
Nigerian Banks are pure capitalists. This situation will force them to drive the economy by lending to the sectors they would hitherto not lend to. Oil and Gas sector has always been the bane of this country. Banks can no longer afford to lend to this sector because of the inherent risk. Above all, the Government has a whole lot of work to do. It is not enough to churn out policies, the consequences of policies must be taken into consideration. The Government needs to empower banks of Agriculture and Industry as well as NEXIM Bank. These are the banks that will help promote true entrepreneurship as their interest rates are far cheaper and much more affordable. Buhari and his Finance Minister need to sit up. Enough of the blame game. The economy is already in recession. Urgent bailout is required. |
Are Business Bankers still here? |
