please has anyone successfully done ECA with IQAS. How long did it take?

If you don't mind me asking, why WES? You can save yourself more time and money by avoiding them. If you have a strong reason though, you may still go ahead.

I want to say congratulations to the PPR clinchers and those who passed their IELTS.

I have always had the dream of travelling to Canada, and applied for student visa last year but was denied. Thanks to a friend that raised my hopes again and introduced me to this forum. I have learnt a lot from hear, I have asked some questions and been given good responses.

I think I am now ready to embark on the journey. Planning to start ECA process with WES this December and will write IELTS in January, though spouse intends writing his in February. And I know that all will end in praise in Jesus' Name.

I applied using Mr Funmi Ade......... name on credential (1) Funmi Osun................... credential 2 (Funmilayo Osun......) both maiden names.

My question if I apply now using maiden name Funmilayo Osun............... as suggested by WES above, will i be able to use this as for my Canada ambitio--- I am a spouse (not Primary Applicant).

Please I need help my ogas.

please i have a question.

Should I use my maiden name for for my WES ECA or my married name. Because I have my maiden names on all my credentials, so as to avoid any cancellation from WES. Or can one support the application with a copy of the marriage certificate?

Another question guys,

Does my work experience have to match with the degree obtained?
For example, someone who graduated with a degree in microbiology and working as a cashier in a bank.

I think the major thing is for your work experience to be up to 3yrs and most advisable you get reference(s)
from d most recent. Especially in this ur case, if d employer is ur former coy and u think u've got others to make up for it(including d most recent) to make it atleast 3yrs, then you good to go.

Work history is to get points and should be backed with reference letter.
Anything else will go under personal history post-ITA.

Please I have a question. During application do one have to state all our work history for the purpose of EE or can we choose to be silent on some?
For example if one is not able to get reference letter from some place of work, should one still sight that organization?

For those that are yet to go to Waec office for their result to be sent to WES. Id advice they buy scratch card and write deir ref no at the back and give it to waec to include it in the result they would send to Wes so as to save time and cost.

Can we actually do that? Will sending scratch card to WES replace the verification they do with the examination body?

Good afternoon, I did my Masters @ Lautech and it took about 2months before the Transcript was sent to WES with phone call monitoring.
You need to get your notification first and submit the hard copy through someone to exams and record or so . Someone actually assisted me there but it was not a pleasant experience .
